Do you know much about the Fall of Gondolin? It would be really tough to put into a book, as it takes place over most of the Silm. (the set-up for it, at least) and involves a massive cast of characters. Very different from Children of Hurin.
Cold silence has a tendency
to atrophy any sense of compassion
between supposed lovers.
Between supposed brothers.
