We're all mad here.
Referring to the previous post, was just signalling the descent upon your RP thead, tis all ;).

I take is Sean Bean is in Game of Thrones as well? I never really thought much about him until Lord of the Rings, but he did so some voice acting I'm familiar with: Black Beauty (as the horse) and a movie about a lion pride for a couple. Can't remember what the lion one was called. Kinda interesting though because it was made up of filmed wild lions with the voices added later. Off topic.

Sounds like a good movie Suzerain. I find I get bored with the standard Hollywood stuff too, and am talking more interest in films from Europe and even local stuff in Canada here. The odd time I go to a movie store I look on the new releases wall for the movies I haven't seen advertised, and have found some alright movies that way. Death Watch was on I liked. It's European made, and involves a cursed trench in World War I. Not a lot of gore or blood beyond what would be expected in a war movie where people have injuries and gangrene and such. I liked it. Another one was Dog Soldiers which is also European, or European/Canadian, not sure. It's in the realm of slashers but I like it because the characters are soldiers and therefore not monster fodder. They know how to fight back and it makes things that much better. You are actually rooting for the characters instead of rolling your eyes at how stupid they are acting.

If you're into triller stuff, I'd suggest looking for Double Vision, a Chinese/American collab that features a serial killer with supernatural elements. The uneditted version available in Taiwan I hear is uber gorey and such but the American release isn't as much, though it it gorey as it features the aftermath of symbolic killings and such.
