This stupid Council will get us no where, as a whole. Vampires used to be a proud race...we didn't care about rules..or rank..or any of this crap nowadays. So as long as we kept the population within reason in accordance to the human population, we were free to do as we wished. Most of us had the common sense to just take what we need from them and be done with it..some of us..not so much...that's when the Council was established and ever since that, we've been declining..and now here we are..."

She outstretched her arms, displaying the room, "The vampires of the 'old days' have split from the Council's..'rule' and now we're trying to make up for their stupid mistake of revealing us to the humans. It's your Council that is wrong Renee...they told the humans we exist, they wanted to work out..God knows what with the humans, but instead, they got resistance. Thanatos has been planning for years, as you know, and the human/vampire...'dispute' was a perfect opportunity for him to show everyone exactly how useless and stupid the Council is." She sighed, crossing her arms again, "I'm surprised you couldn't figure out my reasons yourself. You seem like a bright girl Renee...it's a shame you're still brainwashed by Them."
