"I know." Holden waved.
Alicia appeared next to Holden, "You couldn't find a better place to hid?" She waved her hand in front of her nose. "I smell like five days worth of horse shit." She sighed placing her hand on Holden's shoulder and the other hand over Holden's eyes. She teleported them back to their house. "There, so do you want my help with planning your wedding?" She smiled. "Oh my god... I never thought this would happen... Your getting married before me..." She put her hand over her mouth in a fake gasp.
"I'm not really sorry." Holden chuckled. He crossed his arms when they were back at his house. "Yes I do, but first I need to plan Solomon's birthday dinner." He smiled as he went to the book shelf and grabbed a few cook books. He sat down on the couch, "Ya well find someone and marry them." He pointed to the desk Holden sat and paid the bills at. "Can you get me a pen and paper?" He opened one of the cook books.
Alicia walked over to the desk and grabbed what Holden asked for. "It's not that easy Holden. And I still miss Alexander.." She tensed as she handed the items to Holden.
Holden grabbed the pen and paper, he sighed as he closed the cookbook and patted the cushion next to him. He waited for Alicia to sit down, he wrapped his arm around her neck. "I know you do Alicia, I still miss Amanda and Jason." He sighed again. "But no matter what we have to live our lives, we can't dwell in the past for the rest of our days. That is not what they would want." He smiled as he leaned his head on Alicia's head. "Now lets wipe that tear away and get happy. Ok?" Holden smiled as he wiped Alicia's tear away.
Alicia sat down and laid her head on Holden's shoulder. She sighed quietly as she listened to him. "I know Holden, I can't believe I basically fell in love with Alexander within three days." A tear escaped her eye. Her blue eyes were sparkling with sadness. "Holden how do you do that?" Alicia asked looking up at him.
Simultaneously happening in Washington state:
Camelia sighed as she closed closed her book, she looked at Felix. "Should I tell him?" She set the book down on the table.
Felix looked up from his book, he took off his reading glasses and gently laid them in the table. "Tell him what sweet pea?" He laid the book next to his glasses.
"About Holden's soul." A frown came over her face.
"Oh that..." He looked to the side. "I think you should but it is up to you." He sighed as he crossed his legs.
"How can I tell him?" She pleaded for an answer from Felix. "How do you tell someone that?" She leaned forward.
"I don't know Camelia. But it would help if you knew for sure." He ran his hand through his red hair.
"I know Felix, but these things are hard to know for sure." She rubbed her temples. "It's not like I can show up and be, 'So Holden if your turned you only have a twenty percent chance of living. And if you do survive you will be a Strigoi vii not a Strigoi viu.' That will sound crazy." Camelia sighed.
"It does sound crazy, but it is the truth. Just tell him soon, I don't want Solomon coming after you for not..." Felix frowned.
