"Umm, it's actually about the French..." Seth somewhat muttered. "They know you guys are alive..." He trailed off.

"What about them Seth? And most of the vampire world knows Solomon and I are alive. It's not that hard to figure out that the best friends of the leader of the council is alive." Holden sighed taking another bite of food.

"They want to challenge you for custody of Melody. And they want to experiment on her." Seth flinched as he said that.

Holden dropped his fork, "What?! Seth I'm not a vampire anymore."
