Solomon dropped his book as he heard Holden's voice in his head. His katana appeared in his hands and he quickly ripped the sheathe from the blade and disappeared. He reappeared where he sensed Holden, his eyes glowing red with fury as he gathered up a powerful blast of telekinesis launching it at Ilistan. He held his sword defensively in front of him, "Alicia, get Holden and Melody somewhere safe...perhaps Mystic's house would be best."

Melody closed her eyes tight as the Paladin's sword came down on her, but after a few seconds, she didn't feel it cut her skin. She cracked open an eye to see the Paladin had vanished. She stood, holding her arm with a wince as Solomon appeared, This is why Mystic needs to teach me telepathy...I could've called him before Holden got hurt.
