She shook her head, quickly undoing her seat-belt and climbing out of the car, "I will walk." She shut the door and stepped away from the car. She waited a moment with a frown. Mystic probably wouldn't let her in, but oh well. With a sigh, she ran off, her speed just a tad faster than most humans.

After about a half mile she stopped, whirling around as she heard something. She quickly drew the knife from the sheath hidden under her skirt, looking around carefully. Suddenly, a stray cat jumped from the tall grass, pausing in the rode as it saw Melody. She watched it for a moment, before walking on towards Mystic's.
