Solomon lifted his left hand from his pocket, pinching the bridge of his nose tightly, "Why is it that you never listen to me?" He opened his sharp green eyes after a moment, staring Holden down. Suddenly he winced as Hayden gave his heart a rather intense squeeze, "Leave me alone woman!"

"Not until you be nice! Would you have done anything different if you were in his shoes?"
