when i was in highschool, i read "It Happened To Mary"... i'm not sure who the author is, but... it's based on a real-life situation. this girl was raped by a guy she thought was her friend. he ended up giving her aids. it's about how she dealt with it. another one i read just for the fun of it in highschool was "Killing Mr. Griffin". another good book.
