Behel almost replied with listing off a short list of horrible things that the man might have wanted to do to him in this lofty place, but he bit his tongue and said nothing. As much as he wanted to stick his knife in whoever kidnapped him in his sleep, no, the man sounded genuine and honestly, he wasted so much energy when running down the halls trying to find an escape.
His hand abandoned the knife handle and fell to his side, but the sharp wrist-spines refused to lay back. One might be able to control their own actions, but biological reflexes were a different matter entirely...especially because even if he wasn't the one who brought him here, that didn't mean that he or the woman might have ill intentions. You couldn't be a man in his line of work without developing a little healthy paranoia.
"You say 'stuck here.' Might I presume that...no, do you know the nature of this place? Why was I taken here? And you? By what? Wherever this is, it's no place in the world that I know of."
He had many more questions rumbling around in his mind, much more than he could possibly ask.
((Skewered dragon meat sounds kind of tasty, heh.))
