She blinked, 'Bird? What bird?'

Suddenly Hayden yelled out and there was much squawking in the room. She could be heard trying to calm it down. After a minute or so, the bird was silent. She smiled, petting it gently and smoothing it's feathers down, "Shhhh it's okay."

Melody sat there in his arms, staring flatly at the wall, 'She has a bird....why?'
