Personally, I didn't really think there was much hype at all but given that I usually don't bother to look at anything in the way of movie info at all, it's a fair thing to say that I wouldn't have noticed anyway. I knew that Tim Burton was directing a new version of Alice and Wonderland and it seemed more or less in line which what I've seen from him before.
