Apparently there was supposed to be some kind of super earthquake that would go around the whole world and kill everybody. I don't know where this came from, but the other thing I had heard was that it was supposed to be, like, a sudden world-wide epipheny, where everybody would ascend into perfectness, and we'd all love each other and become magic flying hippies.
