I saw it once... I was a little upset, because, just like you, I expected SO much more.

I mean, come on! Its a Tim Burton movie! It was supposed to be amazing! /le sarcasm But ... I don't know. Maybe I'll have to watch it myself a second time around. But I do have to say.. Johnny Depp made a really good Mad Hatter. xDD;
