We're all mad here.
I'm certainly hoping my laptop will play Skyrim, though knowing me I won't end up getting the game until the next comes out anyway becasue I'm cheap.

I haven't played Oblivion at all but I'm still into Morrowind. Never really bothered to finish the game though I suppose I could. I think I'm level 40-esque now and will probably cap our around 60 before my main skills max out. I love the open-ended ness of the elder scrolls games. Our Daggerfall copywas was glitched so the game would screw up when we hit a certain point in the main quest so we never bothered.

Fast travel was available in Daggerfall. All you had to do was go to the map, click where you wanted to go, and select mode of transport. I miss not being able to buy horses in Morrowind, but I usually used the mage's guild for transportation anyway. As to getting in, yeah, it's a pain. My sister I and learned back in DF that if you wanted in the mages guild you had to join them first since it was much easier -and quicker- to improve fighting stuff than magic.

I liked the none scaled aspect of some of the dungeons and what not in the games. It forces people to rethink some situations rather than strong-arming their way through everything, which is what I usually tended to do until I figured out this stealth thing. I cleaned out an ebony mine by sneaking past a horde of astral thingies that could all one-hit-kill me at the time. Not so much now.

Morrowind did have a number of throwing weapons, Lunaryon. Suriken, throwing knives, and darts at least, in different styles. There were not so common though. In the entire game so far I've found 2 daedric darts and 6 glass throwing knives. Did get some enchanted suriken a few times though.
