[Suzerain of Sheol]

Is anyone else watching this? While the books aren't my absolute favorite, this is an amazing adaptation of them so far. The actors are all spot-on, and the new scenes they've added all fit perfectly into the story. (Compare to *cough* Peter "I Can Improve On Tolkien" Jackson...)

The only thing that I don't like about it is all the sex, though it's present in the books. I just think it's a little too graphic and I feel uncomfortable watching the show with my dad. The scene in episode 2 seemed almost pornographic. And the (relatively tame) scene in episode 4 was over 5 minutes long ans wasn't even in the book. That's the only scene that's really annoyed me so far.

Not to mention, the show's clearly strapped for time and there are other things they could include from the books if they cut down on the cheap titillation.

So, what does everyone else think?
