Holden closed his eyes to settle down. "I'm sorry Solomon." He said calmly as he opened his eyes. "I don't need to burden you with my problems." He said with a sigh. He stood up and hugged Solomon, "Let's go and take a shower, and then go out and see the sites." He said snuggling into Solomon's chest. "I..." He started to say but was cut off by a tremendous pain in his head. Holden let go of Solomon and fell to his knee's clutching his head.

"You are a stupid little vampire. You can not run away from me." A dark, and sinister voice boomed in Holden's head. "You along with your entire family will die. I will enjoy beating you within an inch of your life, and then I will take it." The voice said with a maniacal laugh. "Your kind may have thought us to be extinct, but I promise you we the Vampire Slayers are alive and well. I hope you enjoy your little vacation." The voice said as he made all but a few of Holden's blood vessels in his brain explode.

Holden collapsed to the floor, unconscious and very close to death.
