Ya the end of season four was just devastating. And yes the book is suppperrr different.

Like his brother doesn't die - laguerta is killed in the first book. Doakes doesn't die but he does get his hands and his feet and his tongue cut off. Debra is dating a super fat guy. Dexter describes Rita as "a girl whose favorite hobby is sweating." It's just crazy. But I love both stories.
