I try to be friendly and chatty. Generally when I am online I am posting something in the staffs writing forum trying to get setup with the next event or in the rp realm.

I get nervous around a lot of new people and am scared of jumping in just in case I get ignored, so I can understand how others would feel about that type of thing.

But the thing also, that online there is no tone and you can't see facial expressions so you can only go on text, which means something that is meant to be a joke can easily be taken the wrong way.

As Staff don't mean to seem to come off different, but as we have to come over with authority at times and can't really get buddie, buddie with members just in case trouble comes up involving said buddie and whatever the trouble is and our buddie is cleared then someone would state that it was favoritism even if they never posted it in public so we are also weary about that.
