A small grin came upon her face as he fell asleep, Good boy. She remained completely still the entire night, not daring to move to disturb him. She kept her mind occupied most of the night by constantly scanning the city with her mind, keeping track of the vampires and of the slayers she knew about from personal encounters. For the most part, the vampires remained at a distance, sensing she would not tolerate their presence. It was moments like this she was a bit relieved to be as old as she was...the other vampires would listen to her and know better than to make her angry.

Artemis opened her eyes feeling the sun peer through the windows. She never expected to actually fall asleep; lightly yes, but not like she had. She looked down to see William still asleep and smiled slightly. She would let him wake up on his own accord.
