William stared into her eyes for a long moment as he begun to realize he had gone to far. Her silence unnerved him. "Cat got your tongue, Artemis?" Could he pull away now, perhaps laugh it off? He didn't like the sound of that. He needed a way to end this gracefully. Then a idea formed and he smiled.

Leaning in slowly, he gently pulled her face closer and planted a soft kiss on her check. He lingered there, just a moment to long and smiled. "Generous of me, don't you think?" He asked, then dropped his hand and pulled away.
