True I suppose, but I think the purpose would be served since the name is right there!

At any rate, "femme gauche" literally means "female left" or "left female"... speaking of the direction. And the word also means "awkward" in french and in english it has a similar use... I am left-handed, and a bit awkward. I am also female as well as a feminist, so i chose the name for its layered meaning.
