"Hey, you would too if you knew her." He said with a chuckle. He was pretty sure that she did not want to meet his mother. Ever. His mother was a high ranking slayer who had no time for anything but the kill. She had taken him from his civilian and rather oblivious father at a very young age when she realized he possessed the skills of a slayer.

At Artemis's words of warning he turned and looked behind them. He groaned and cursed under his breath. He could see them clear enough, and he would have been more than willing to take them out if he had been alone. Quickly he gave Artemis the helmet, sat on the bike and revved the engine. "Get on. Quickly."
