William was going to comment on the fact that he thought he just might be too expensive for her when he noticed her sudden mood change. Lightly, he placed his hand on the small of her back and leaned over so he could talk quietly into her ear. "You alright? You look a little... down." He asked, wondering if the experience outside had shaken her up more than she had admitted.

He frowned slightly. Had those men really frightened her this much? The thought made him regret not taking their lives even more. Perhaps he would find them and finish the job later, when he was out hunting for vampires.
