Serus winced as she was put down and as the ground moved, but she was able to bear it. She just wanted to curl up and die so badly right now. Two things wrong with that plan though. One, she couldn't move at all, and secondly, that's exactly what the demon wanted her to do and Serus was not one to comply.

When she felt Seth hit the ground, she yelped as the small shock traveled through the ground and up her body. She managed to build a weak telepathic link with him, since he was so close "You shouldn't have done that Seth.."
