You two," she demanded, looking to Sean and Felix, "sit. Here" She pointed to the open floor next to her then took her hand and placed it over Serus's heart, "Serus, put your hand on Felix's heart, and Felix to Sean's."

Any physical contact would've worked, but the heart was the center of the spirit. It was easiest to access the energy necessary from here, and it used the least amount of power on her part.

Serus narrowed her eyes, "Do it anyway Jaelynn...wait..what're you doing?" She scowled, but did as she was told.
