Serus listened quietly. She didn't know whether to be angry, or understanding. She understood his situation, since he thought she was dead. She was proud he was able to move on and be moderately happy. However, on the other side, she was furious that he could even think of loving another woman.

She clutched a chunk of her dress, wringing the fabric as if strangling it. She didn't say anything for many minutes, trying to figure out how she felt about this. She kept her eyes away from him, looking at either the floor or her hands that were strangling her dress.
