Serus found herself in the air again, the force from Christians hands cracked a few ribs. As Seth eased her down, she grabbed onto them, wincing. "Fledgling?" she gasped out, coughing up some blood. She barely had enough power to keep the damage from getting worse as she tried to breathe. "I'll have you know, that I am not some fledgling. Tell him Seth.."

She closed her eyes tightly, putting her forehead to the floor as the pain only got worse as the last bit of her power was drained trying to repair the damage. She should stop talking now.
