For the longest time, I only read these books by my beloved author Beverly Barton. She's an amazing mystery writer and she knows how to write romance...but her sex scenes were terrible! She used phrases like "mouths mating" to refer to kissing and when a man comes, he "melts" and weird stuff like that. XD It made me giggle. I love reading terrible porn.

But in all srsness, I can't read straight porn. I need a whole damn story. WHO are these characters, WHY are they here, etc. It bothers me, otherwise. This is why j'adore Lynsay Sands' books. She's AMAZING! Her books have mystery, action, romance...and some damn steamy sex scenes. <333

As for content, I prefer either het or m/m slash. Though I do like girls, reading sex between girls seems awkward to me. But that's just me. XP And I prefer to read about a real good fucking. None of this love making business. IDGAF about that much, unless it's a really sweet fluff story. Nah, I'd rather read about raw, unbridled sex. That's also what I prefer to write.
