I take the view of "whatever works for you" as I know that my practices wouldn't suit 90% of the other pagans I meet.
Though fairy magik I do steer clear of as they can be tricky and troublesome little buggers and can mess with things you don't need messing with.
Dragons I'm a little more cool with as long as you get the right type from the right country as there are so many different types.
And cats I'm definitely cool with. I've found cats are always great to deal with. ^_^
