She quickly replaced her forehead back onto Serus's, focusing intently on her mission, the blood slowly being separated and converted to nourishment. Finally Serus was still as progress was made and Jaelynn was able to release her manipulation over Serus's voice. "Serus? Are you alright? Can you hear me?"

Suddenly she coughed as her lungs started to re-inflate and her ribs repaired themselves. Her eyes shot open, and she opened her mouth to speak, but closed it, unsure of what to say at the moment. She was still piecing together the last few minutes, trying to process what had happened. She started up at Jaelynn's sharp blue eyes blankly, blinking every now and then.
