He just couldn't grasp how he would fall in love with someone from another class, and especially Fumiko since he didn't like her enough to fall in love with her, or so he tried to conince himself. He took a deep breath, though the air seemed stale and he was tempted to return to the normal areas. Then he looked around once again before turning, "So these missions were something that started this.. I don't want to use taboo magic like I did in my past, but I don't want to remain stuck in this village forever. However, even if I did love Fumiko back then, I don't think I can do the same as I had before...so I wouldn't be hurting my father. Everything is different, isn't it?"

Though thinking back on it, Rie and Arata seemed relatively normal, despite having the creepy smiles. He didn't think they were that insane if they had been given the right situation. However, he still felt like punching their faces in, "Did we ever meet before? It feels like it might have been a bad first impression.."
