Great.
Fucking great.
Giving a look to Matthew, that so obviously portrayed,"See what you've done?", it wasn't surprisingly when Alistair tried to find any other witnesses by slowly going to a rusted fire escape and beginning to climb upwards. He checked in windows, making sure no residents had retreated in their rooms after hearing the commotion and continued till the last platform. From there he jumped, pulling himself easily onto the roof.
Down below, Matt still stood in the grimy alley, staring up at Alistair. In the cast of the moonlight, the golden hair of the vampire gave a soft glow, and his blue eyes radiated. If he didn't know any better, Matthew would say it was an angel on the building's edge. Still, he did know better. And he knew Alistiar was far from anything tied to heaven.
Maybe Matt was still too connected with his human side, or the worst vampire ever (perhaps both), but he feared Alistair. Too many times had he seen the male drag away bodies from his bedroom, dead or alive. Screams were commonplace in the hallways of their house, as well as smears of human blood drying on the walls. Matthew was pleased he had saved his meal's life, but now worry struck him as he thought of the human who had witnessed their conversation. What would become of her?
"There you are." Alistair spotted Lillium, a flurry of death sentences scrapping against his mind. No one else was on the street at this hour, and when she looked over her shoulder, he scoffed. She was making this too easy.
Releasing a smooth breath, he calmly stepped over the edge of the building. His white shirt lifted from the fall, surprisingly untouched by his earlier murder and fell back in place when his feet tapped the ground in landing. It had revealed strong muscles, adding the the undeniable fact that Alistair was very attractive.
That tidbit was more noticable when he dropped a few feet in front of her and smiled. His grin was charming, but something sinister swirled within his blue orbs. "Hi there." He nodded, lifting his head to get a better look at who was helping make tonight so difficult, "You look upset. Relax. I just came by to introduce myself. Is that so wrong?"
(Ugh. I wrote this up, and then Trisphee logged me out and I lost it. So this is like my third product. Shorter than the last two and a bit rushed. Sorry.))
