My DS lite was purchased used and it had cracks in it when I got it, and after my dropping it fairly often for 3 years and glueing it together several times I figured I was due to upgrade. But I also was keeping in mind that the 3DS was being announced around when I got my XL, and I was still firmly inclined to get the XL then and keep it until there have been a few price drops on the 3DS.

Also I gotta save for a new computer! o Ao
