"I feel very connected with him," Quarrel admitted, giving Red a small nod. "Come, we will sleep."

He reached out and took the other's hand, before following his 'father' to the sleeping chamber.

Red could see his friends curled up near the bottom, but Q headed for a spot surrounded by glowing rocks.

"This is where Assah and Appah sleep," He informed. "They are our leaders. We will sleep with them."

The boy hopped onto one of the glowing rocks and climbed into the netted bed, before reaching down for Red's hand.

"Trust me," He breathed.
