However, you are very well grounded. Not too many humans are. It would be a shame for the world to loose such a wonderful person."

He was silent for a second, then continued to elaborate. "While I may be civilized, it doesn't mean I am without my enemies. Even if I don't know you extremely well, I still consider you a friend, a good one at that. From this shot time with you, I can already tell you have many wonderful qualities about yourself. Either way, if you were to suddenly come into danger, I would obviously do whatever I could to protect you. While turning another is the last thing on my mind, there's still a chance I couldn't let a friend die due to my incompetence. It'd be more of a selfish act really, preserve my own pride."
