The world came to slowly, the light blinding his sensitive eyes as he blinked them open.

After a few moments the light turned off, as if the person could tell it was bothering him. The only light in the room was the monitor... was he in a doctor's room? What had happened...

Kayen shot up suddenly, gasping and looking around in alarm. He pulled his legs up and pressed back against the corner where the bed met the wall in alarm, looking all around.

Who had brought him in here!? Who had touched him-!?
