Clearing up some facts:
-Animation is actually more expensive than live action.
-Adult Swim started out with cartoons as well, so adulthood is not to blame for the live action shows.
-CN is the new logo for the channel, not a name change. The channel and the studio still go by Cartoon Network, and in fact Cartoon Network Studios still uses the old logo.
-The live action shows suck hard.
