But did he learn? Did Watson's program pick up the English Language as well as all of the other things that it currently knows or was that pre-programed? It is this question that ultimately decides whether or not Watson can even become self-aware, because the human program can learn anything and does learn everything, but then again, why don't dogs or cats or other animals.
