also- because of the way random access memory works- as well as the way most programing codes work- if you know where exactly in ram a program is working- you can insert more characters into the buffer of a field inside the program- then modify another aspect in ram that you wouldn't have been able to do otherwise =P
however that is somewhat illegal if the computer isn't your own- but yeah =P
a cyborg has to know this stuff~ Prevents someone else from messing with my own RAM and trying to reprogram me to do naughty things~
