Anyone who has ever done research on poisonous spiders should not like spiders.

Otherwise, they just flat-out have no sense of self preservation.

Go look up a Brown Recluse spider bite in Google. Brown Recluse is maybe the fifth or sixth deadliest spider in the world, and their bites can kill you in less than three days. They start off looking like mosquito bites for the first day, and then your skin rots away around the bite area, and then the toxin stops your heart and lungs and you're dead, absolutely no chance of surviving. In three days.

And there are much more aggressive spiders, too. The South American Wandering Spider will actually chase you down in order to try and kill you. They sometimes get transported out of their native habitat via fruit crates, especially bananas, and can be found hundreds of miles away from South America.

If you played with any poisonous spiders and didn't end up dead, it's because you were lucky - not because spiders are harmless.
