By the time Aya was ready, Drake had her bag ready and her lunch, and her breakfast. He handed her a muffin and smiled, opening the door for her. Once they were out, he locked up and took lead in front of her, yawning momentarily. He stared at everyone that gave them a weird glance, making sure they knew not to look for too long. Their first class today was a 5 minute walk from Drake's room, but with morning traffic, it usually took about 10. The same people were crowding in the same corners, doing the same things, talking about the same subjects. Drake sighed, he wished things were a little more exciting then this. Sadly, things never were. Drake looked back to Aya who was staying close and he smiled quick. He was glad she was so obedient, it made her so much more of a valuable keep. Though he really did hate having to discipline her as such, it was something they both had to deal with if they wanted to be close to each other.
Drake turned the corner of the hall toward the class they were supposed to be in, when all of a sudden he heard something cut the wind. It's when he heard Aya shriek his name, and when he heard the glass of the window shatter, that he realized -- someone had tried attacking him! He turned back swiftly after being pushed away, and saw Aya on her knees on the ground. Quickly, he threw his bag and books down and knelt beside her, looking at what had stabbed into her. His eyes narrowed when he saw the long, silver dagger with the cursive "L" on it. "Luke..." He growled, his eyes flashing an angry red. Drake had looked out the window just in time to see Luke's form disappear, and he hissed. The other students in the halls stayed far, far away from Drake. Quickly, he pulled the dagger out, carefully mind you, and slowly placed his hand over the wound. He took a deep breath and closed his eyes. A bright purple light enveloped his hand, and in a matter of seconds, Aya's wound had vanished, and the blood on her dress was gone. "Stay here." He nodded to her.
Drake got up and vanished quickly. He knew where to find Luke. And when he found him, he would kill him. If not literally, he would at least put that vampire in the infirmary. Drake lifted his sleeve a moment, and a touch to a little button on a bracelet he wore allowed a long, elegant sword to appear in his hand. The blade was made with silver, and was as sharp as a razor blade, and ten times as deadly. The hilt had a lovely criss-cross ribbon pattern on it, and at the tip, a gold point with green vines and two red roses. It was a weapon of deadly beauty, something you would expect from Drake. When he spotted Luke out by the lake behind the school with his little gang of friends, Drake growled and quickly pointed the long sword's tip to his throat. All Luke did was smirk and pull out another little dagger similar to the one that had pierced Aya. "What the HELL is wrong with you?!" Drake was furious. "You could have KILLED her!" Drake's fangs were bared and ready to fight, his eyes flashing red again. Luke just laughed Drake off, his own eyes going red. "My dear friend, it was YOU I was trying to kill." Nonchalantly, Luke flicked his hair over his shoulder. "Too bad that little human got in the way." He made a mock pout face. "I hope she died slow." He grinned.
Drake hissed at the vampire in front of him, and in moments, Luke's tiny dagger transformed into a long sword the same as Drake's, but the design was far from being as classy. Crowds of vampires gathered around them as they fought, swords clashing, roars thundering. Luke and Drake had long since been rivals, and Luke had always wanted what Drake had. Things he couldn't. This time, though. Luke had gone too far. He had hurt someone that Drake cared for, he had put her in danger. Sure, in the fight they both took their stabbings, they both took cuts here and there, but when Luke dared whisper to Drake he would kill Aya if she wasn't already dead, Drake lost his mind. All his pure blooded instincts kicked in, and soon he had Luke pinned down to the lush, blood stained grass, his own sword dug all the way through him into the grass, keeping him locked there. Drake pointed his own sword back at Luke's throat as Luke lay there, gasping and in shock. Drake just growled and pulled away, leaving Luke there. "Touch her, and die." Drake's eyes were still red, and his threat was serious.
Drake made his way through the crowd, wondering if Aya had followed them, or stayed where she was. He knew she might have followed, he half hoped she did, it would make it easier for him to find her. He looked from face to face, calling her name. "Aya? Aya are you here?" He sighed when he couldn't see her, and was coming to the end of the crowd. "Aya, come on. I know you came." He smiled a little. He smelled horribly of blood..
Aya smiled a bit when Drake handed her all of her things. Oh how he cared for her, always making sure she was ready and being sure that she didn’t forget things. He really was a thoughtful man. She took the muffin and nibbled at it as they made their way down the halls. It was a rather large school so it could take them a good while to actually get there, plenty of time to finish her breakfast. His quick glances and subtle smiles were enough for her to know that he wished to be closer to her in public but could not. She understood, her eyes warm as she looked up at him, her heart fluttering in her chest at his smallest smile. She could tell by the glares that every girl in the school wished she could be Aya, that is every girl but Kiara perhaps. It didn’t seem like the veggie-vamp was very fond of her ‘master’ from the way she spoke about him to the poor girl.
Aya’s body was going into shock when Drake knelt down by her side, she looked up at him with weak eyes, wanting to speak yes she couldn’t find the words. She heard the name he had whispered, seeing his eyes flash red and noticing how the whole student body seemed to step back away from him as though they were afraid he would attack any one of them because of this pure rage. Though Aya was not afraid, she knew that Drake would never hurt her. Within that moment he pulled out the dagger and she restrained a cry of pain before his unusually warm hand pressed against the wound. He was always so cold, so why was his hand…? She noticed the purple light, a bit surprised at the sight but even more so at the way her pain disappeared and wound healed. Large eyes flecked with awe looked down at her abdomen and back up to Drake, though she remained silent, only offering him a soft smile as a silent thank you. He really was something amazing…hidden powers, strength, grace, honor, everything that a man was supposed to have. She admired him and longed to stay with him, knowing that no other man could ever compare.
When he disappeared though Aya felt a flash of worry, noticing that her blood was still on the ground and a good few of the vampires were eyeing her hungrily. “Aya!” A familiar voice snapped her out of her trance and she looked up, seeing Kiara looming over her with a friendly smile. Smiling softly she took her friends hand. “Kiara, it’s wonderful to see you.” she was polite and calm, glad that she wouldn’t have to walk alone in this sea of vampires. The female vampire seemed strong enough to care for herself and brave enough to watch over Aya in Drake’s absence. She looked around a bit worried, wondering where Drake had gone, though when the vampires began migrating towards the lake on campus she followed with Kiara, seeming anxious. The vampire could tell, squeezing Aya’s hand reassuringly as they finally found the group around her master and his adversary. Their hands released and the human wandered about a bit, trying to get a better view of the battle.
Each time Drake was cute even in the slightest she winced to herself. She hated watching his blood being spilled, hated the fear that Luke could plunge that sword through him at any moment, but he fought with fierceness just as she knew he would. After what seemed like an endless clash of metal Luke was on the ground, Drake stop him menacingly. When he stuck Luke's own sword into his pale flesh she flinched, looking away from the sight. Kiara had disappeared into the crowd somewhere when Aya started to wander around, but her mind was too focused on the fight to even notice. He had won...a sigh of relief brushed past her feather soft lips and her heart seemed to slow from it's once rapid beating. She had no idea that Drake was so powerful, strong enough to take Luke down so easily, to be able to win such a fight so quickly. The fact that he was fighting for her was evident when the fight had ended. His words to Luke were "Touch her, and die." At this her heart skipped a beat. Drake was fighting to keep her safe, he was so vicious and enraged because Luke was going to hurt her... Her cheeks went red as she watched her blood splattered master wander into the crowd.
Drake really did care for her and it was more evident now then ever before. She really was safe by his side, always protected and cared for the way any girl would want to be. When he was born she didn't know, nor did she care, but Drake was a gentleman if one ever existed. Brought back to reality by the sound of his voice she stood on the tips of her toes, peeking over the crowd to see Drake. With light footed grace she slipped past the other vampires, paying them no mind as she searched for him. He was right, she couldn't stay away when he was gone...she worried about him more then any other person in the world. He was so important to her and loosing him would be like loosing her own life.
She couldn't contain herself, couldn't hold back at the sight of him being so safe and once he came into sight she ran, clinging to his chest and pressing close against him. "Drake..." she whispered against him, her large golden eyes watering as she raised her gaze to his face. "I'm sorry...I'm so sorry..." One hand traced over his many small cuts, the other grasping at a fistful of his shirt before she pressed her face against him once more. "I was so worried..." Her body still seemed a bit weak, frail from all of the blood loss but she didn't care. Even the stench of fresh blood couldn't keep her from him...the whole rest of the world seemed to disappear. Kiara watched from afar, tilting her head slightly at Aya's reaction to her master being safe. She started to wonder what their relationship was really like, but soon shrugged it off. "You take good care of her.." the female vampire whispered before turning away from the two of them.
Drake peeked his head through several different people, shouting Aya's name. If it weren't for the fact he had already taken down Luke, he would be a hell of a lot more worried. But for now he knew she was safe, and he knew that she must have been somewhere nearby. "Aya?!" He shouted louder, until all of a sudden the wind was knocked out of him by a short golden haired girl. "Aya!" He sighed, wrapping his arms tight around her. One arm was around her back, and the other gently pet her head. A smile played on his face as she pressed to him, and he held her close and tight. "Don't be, it's alright, don't be sorry." He nodded, lifting her chin slowly. "Don't be sorry, he's taken care of for now, and I doubt he'll try again." Drake smiled reassuringly. "He was after me anyway." He pet her head once softly and picked her up in his arms. "Come on, I'm going to take you back to my dorm. We're not going to go to class today, you need to rest." He nodded, heading off in direction of his room.
He nodded to Kiara as she spoke, but he didn't answer back. Instead, he continued the long walk back to his dorm, making sure Aya was pressed up against his chest and safe. He sighed, closing his eyes for a moment. "Aya... Next time, don't do something like that. I can heal myself just fine, but healing you... I'd rather not have to. And besides, I can't get rid of scars." He looked to her with the calmest, sweetest look. He reached into his pocked with one hand while the other arm held her close, and pulled out his keys. They were already at his door, so he unlocked it. Once inside, he set her down gently, her back to him, and slowly undid her dress, slipping it off. He moved to her front and knelt, kissing the scar on her stomach very gently. With a small smile, he pressed his head against her stomach and wrapped his arms around her hips, giving her a hug. "Thank you, though." He laughed a little. "I never had someone be that stupid for me." He smiled up at her in light of the joke.
Slowly though, he got off the floor and picked her up again, laying hr down gently on his bed. He pulled off her gloves, shoes, and stockings, then covered her up. "You stay here." He nodded and walked to the door. "I've got some business to tend to." And with a smile, he left the room, clocking the door shut. He would make his way to Kiara's classroom, and have her excused. "Kiara, please." He smiled to the professor and once she had come, he pulled her into the hallway. "Kiara. I need you to do me a favor." Gently, he pushed her hair over her shoulder. "Aya, she's my pet, and I know you know more than you should. Please don't tell anyone." He gave her a charming smile. "Please. I'm keeping her safe, and I'll need you to help me do that." He nodded to her. He hoped he could convince her to help him.
Aya couldn't get near Drake soon enough, her body willing her to stay there in his arms for as long as she was allowed to. Sure it would mess up their image ever so slightly, but the worry she was feeling had overcome her other senses, she needed to hug him, needed to show him how she cared for him. She was on the verge of tears when he tilted her chin up, heart racing from the day's excitement. Unfortunately all of the other vampires would likely be able to hear it as well and there was no doubt it would have been irresistibly tempting without Drake there to protect her. Thank goodness after seeing the way he handled Luke most of the other male vampires were terrified. Her breaths slowed with each stroke of his hand against her head, and she let herself become engulfed in the feeling of being close to him. Her eyes softened at his words and she gave a gentle nod. "Okay Master, if you say so then it must be true." Her mind was back in the right place, and so she was aware of her place in public once again. She was surprised when he scooped her up so quickly and started to walk off. Aya knew she could have walked to the dorm with him, she was weak but she would have been capable of doing so. Though she did have to admit that she preferred this so much more, the way he carried her close against his chest, treating her like a princess.
She would have protected to not going to their classes, but couldn't in the midst of the other vampires, so she simply nodded her head obediently, resting against him lovingly. Though only he would be able to find that tender look in her eyes when she looked at him. Despite the cuts on his body and her weight, Drake seemed fine for the whole walk to his dorm. Aya was surprised, feeling a bit guilty for him having to carry her like this, yet he seemed to have no problem with the situation at all. When he spoke to her about not doing something so reckless again Aya's eyes opened and she bit her lip. Once she was sure that there was nobody else in the halls she spoke, looking up at him with those innocent eyes. "I'm sorry Drake...I just couldn't let it hit you. What if it pierced your heart? I...I can't promise I won't do something like that again because I couldn't stop myself. If I lost you I..." A single tear slipped down her porcelain cheek and she looked down at her lap, feeling a bit ashamed. "I'll try to be more careful...and less reckless, but my instincts pushed me to save you because I had the chance." Aya finally sighed softly, shaking her head a bit before looking up at him once more. "I'm sorry...I'll behave." she finally agreed. She would do her best to stay safe, knowing that Drake worked too hard to do so only to have her get herself killed.
Not having to walk at all the whole way back Aya was a bit unsteady on her feet once he set her down, but after a slight wobble she regained her balance, looking back at Drake before he started to undo her dress. At the feeling of his hands at the buttons that ran down the back of her new dress she blushed, looking down at her feet almost instantly. Despite the fact that he had done this before, she was still just as flustered. Odds were she would never be used to Drake doing thinks like this, not with what an innocent girl she was. Though by no means did that show that she had anything to protest. On the contrary, she loved the way Drake treated her, loved every touch and gentle word the man had ever offered her. Why he decided to undress her was something she wasn't quite sure of, but not a word could leave her lips in that moment when the cool air caressed her skin. Her deep red cheeks were visible when Drake moved before her, kneeling down and kissing her scar. Her heart was beating rapidly, blood rushing to her face as she looked down at him, unsure of what she could even do.
Her panties and bra were black with light pink polka dots, ruffles lining each like the petals of a flower. Needless to say being so close to him wearing only these was nearly overwhelming to such a girl. Though when he hugged around her hips and joked with her the blush faded ever so slightly and Aya giggled softly to herself. "Drake..." she paused and looked into his eyes, seeming a bit hesitant before she spoke once more. "I've never felt like this around anybody else..." It was the truth, perhaps in part because nobody else had ever treated her how Drake so boldly did, but all the same her heart raced from even seeing him at all. She wasn't going to mention how embarrassed she was to be so under dressed in front of him, it was obvious enough from the tint upon her cheeks. He treated her just like a doll, slipping off her gloves shoes and stockings almost as though it was something she shouldn't bother do to herself, or rather something he enjoyed doing. Odds were he had never treated another person this way. Her body relaxed a bit when he covered her with the silken comforter and she watched him walk to the door. "Be sure to return safely...I'll be waiting." she added sweetly before he left the room, closing her eyes and snuggling into the soft bed. She really was obedient, but only for Drake, only for her master.
Kiara was surprised when the professor excused her, looking over to Drake with a bit of a glare. She wondered what the man wanted, following him into the hallway reluctantly and nodding to her professor before the door shut behind them. When Drake spoke, Kiara listened, wondering what the pure blood expected to get from her. When he pushed her hair back she slapped his hand away, shaking her head and letting the hair fall over her shoulders once more. Obviously she didn't take very kindly to Drake's kind, even just the look in her eye explained it all. Though as Drake spoke of Aya, Kiara's eyes got a bit softer and she seemed to relax a little. It was true, Kiara could tell from the way Aya took to Drake and the way he was so protective over the girl that they were more then just pet and master. Sure that was part of their relationship, but there was certainly more that most people didn't see. The female vampire rolled her eyes at his smile, though soon responded.
"I don't like people like you Kowai. I don't like your arrogance and I know that you look down on me because I'm a veggie vamp...but Aya really is something precious. The fact that you're caring for her makes you different in my eyes. I can see the way you look at her, and though I'm the only one I can also saw that purple tint in your eyes near the lake." Kiara paced a bit before looking up at Drake once more. "I won't tell...and I'll help you care for her, but this is for Aya alone. I could care less about you, but I will deal with you so long as you take care of her. If you need me just call, I'll be watching out for her whenever I'm around. By the way, I escorted her to the lake...I was way ahead of you." With that the female smirked a bit and turned, walking silently back into the classroom. It was the truth, there was something about the human girl that Kiara loved, and she wanted to keep the fragile girl safe as well, so she would do her best. Though she was still a bit surprised, in her years at the school she had never seen this side of Drake Kowai.
Back at the room, Aya was wandering about a little. She had rested briefly, but wanted to have something done for Drake when he returned. She cleaned up the dorm a bit and then ran into the bathroom, running a bath and getting out a towel. She hung the towel in the bathroom and added a few bath salts to the water. After his fight she was sure a both would do him some good, and it was the least she could do with all he did for her each day. As for cooking him some food she was still a bit too run down, but another day she would surly try to make him something delicious. Once the warm bath was running she climbed back into the bed, pulling the covers up and getting comfy once more. It was much more comfortable for her to be covered when in such scant clothing. When he did return to the room Aya smiled softly, her eyes shimmering brightly as usual. She didn't seem so weak anymore, though the paleness of her skin showed that she was still not fully recovered. "Welcome back Drake...I ran a bath for you. I though it would be good for you after the fight today." Slipping off the bed she stood, still only in her bra and panties, yet she didn't seem to notice at the time. "Oh no, I forgot to shut off the water!" with a worried look on her face Aya rushed into the bathroom, shutting the water off hurriedly. Luckily she had gotten to it before the tub had overflown, but as she turned to return to the bedroom she felt water beneath her feet followed by a loss of balance. With a gasp and slight yelp she fell into the tub, warm water splashing onto the ground as her head emerged, her entire body soaked.
Drake narrowed his eyes a little at Kiara's reaction to his kindness. He'd never been so kind with anyone like this before, and to be shown such disrespect, it made him angry. But for the sake of having Kiara help him protect Aya, he didn't say anything about it. "I may not like veggie-vamps, but that doesn't mean I don't like the people they are. I don't like how they chose to be, but I don't discriminate against the person Kiara." Drake shot her another kind smile, nodding his head as she spoke. He turned his back to her slowly and walked to the window that was behind him, leaning against the ledge quietly. His voice took a low tone as he looked outside at the students that were there. He sighed and nodded. "Thank you for helping me Kiara, she means a lot to me and I just want to keep her safe." His eyes flashed purple. Kiara knew that it meant he loved Aya, but he never would say the words directly. After all, Kiara had just mentioned the purple tint, and he knew she would know what it meant. He didn't try to hide it either. Instead, he turned to her, his eyes a deeper purple than before. He took a step closer to Kiara. "Thank you again." He nodded and turned to head back to his dorm.
As he walked, he took a deep breath to calm down. He knew that his eyes had shifted colors, and he hoped that none of the other vampires other than Kiara had noticed. He also knew that Aya had no idea what it meant, so it didn't matter if she saw his eyes like that. The only color she knew had a meaning was the gold and red eyes he got when it was time to feed. He smiled a little to himself and wondered if he should tell Aya how he felt. He didn't know if she knew, he didn't know if she did too. But he cared for her. He knew she knew that much, and she knew that much about him to her. He cared for her. And it was a lot more than just caring. He was scared to admit it though, and he barely even admitted it to himself. After all, he was a pure blood and she was a human, it wasn't right for him to love her. That was the whole reason they had this charade, they needed to keep that they even cared about each other a secret. And yet, in private, he couldn't help but want to tell her. He wanted to tell her. And he showed her whenever he could. She was so precious to him, and he wondered if she knew. Sometimes, he'd even wondered if he did too much for her, or made her uneasy. He undressed her, he brushed her hair, he tucked her to bed, and held her close as he slept. He had never been that way with anyone, and it was a little odd for him, so why wouldn't it be for her? She didn't seem to mind it, though, so Drake never made a big deal of it.
With a sigh, Drake turned down the final hallway to his dorm. He looked at the watch on his wrist and blinked at the time. It was already nearing noon, and he figured Aya might be hungry. So, he stopped off at the human cafeteria while he could, before he would run into humans, and then ordered her a little salad with a mini sub. He assumed that am assorted cold cuts sub would be fine. So he waited for his order, and paid. He then headed back to his dorm, making sure the salad didn't get too tossed around. He'd hate for everything to get too mixed up. Besides, movement made salad soggy, and soggy was unacceptable. When he made it back to his door, he balanced the sub on the salad container and swung the door open. At the sight of Aya, he both smiled and blushed, noticing that she was barely wearing anything. He laughed a little and set down her food, then walked toward her. "Well thank you for the bath. I got you some food, I hope a salad and mini assorted cold cuts sub sounds good." Drake smiled and pulled off his suit coat, hanging it up. He blinked as Aya ran to the bathroom to turn off the water, then smiled. She was so forgetful. He began to think of how cute it was, until his thought was interrupted by a loud boom and splash. Thoughts of hos clumsy she was raced in his head as he walked into the bathroom, laughing a little at her.
He walked over the bathtub and laughed a little at her expense, but he leaned over and slowly pet her head. "Silly Aya. You need to stop falling into things." He shot her a sarcastic smile, referring to their morning's debut. He smiled and leaned back up, slowly removing his clothing until he was only in his boxers, and lifted her slowly to a sitting position in the tub. Slowly, he stepped in and sat down, pulling her on to his lap and holding her close. "Are you ok? You're not hurt are you?" Drake smiled and looked over her body slowly for any cuts or bruises, and then checked her head for a bump. He didn't find any, and so he slowly slipped his arms back around her. He rested his head calmly on her shoulder and let his eyes close. The water felt good on his skin, and to be sharing this with Aya made him a little happier. In his head, a small war was going on, one between the thought of him telling her how he felt, and the thought of keeping it a secret in order to protect their secret, his reputation, and her safety. He looked to Aya and smiled, noticing that she had a blush on her cheeks, but he pressed his lips slowly to her cheek once before resting his head back down and closing his eyes. Right now, he wanted nothing more than to keep her close.
As he sat in the bath, he picked up a sponge and some body wash and slowly covered the sponge. He lathered the sponge, and began to move it over her shoulders, and his arms. He moved slowly and gently, making sure he covered her arms and shoulders completely. He sat her up higher on his lap, and slowly, carefully, giving her time to object, moved the sponge over her exposed belly. He then washed her back. The last thing he washed was her legs. He ignored her private areas, letting her do that herself if she chose to. He assumed she'd be too shy, so he just rinsed her silently. He made sure he got all the body wash off of her, then he pulled her hair back. He grabbed the shower hose and turned on the water, wetting her hair down a bit more than it had already been. Then he moved on to shampoo, rinse, and condition her hair, then rinsing again. When he was done, he smiled and went back to holding her close. He enjoyed having this time with her. For once, he could spend the day with her, alone. Sitting there, he finally decided to tell her. Slowly, he moved his lips close to her ear and moved her hair, then whispered. "Aya... I love you..." He smiled a little and rested his head back down on her shoulder. "I don't expect you to feel the same... But I thought you should know." He nodded, his cheeks warm from the pink tint they carried.
Kiara had never been the kind to care about social standing, so acting in such a way to Drake seemed natural for her. he had never taken very kindly to many people in the past so she knew that he was only being so nice for Aya's sake. The fact that he was trying so hard for the human girl on the other hand was enough to make Kiara's demeanor change a bit. So when the pure blood thanked her she smiled softly to him, though not so that he could see. Yet when he turned around, his eyes the deepest purple she had ever seen she knew then and there that Drake would be good to Aya, she could tell that no other man would care for her so dearly. "I know Kowai...she's a precious thing." With that the female vampire bowed her head in respect, offering a kind glance. "You can thank me by simply looking at her with those eyes always." She smirked a bit, knowing that the subject might have made him slightly uncomfortable, but she also knew that by her aura alone Aya was a good person, one who deserved the best that Drake could give. A slight smile played on her lips as she turned away as well, heading back to the class Drake had pulled her out of. Kiara was quick to judge people and it was hard to convince her that a person was different then her first judgment, so Drake had done something rather extraordinary. She wrinkled her nose slightly at the thought of Aya and Drake together, knowing that both the humans and vampires would probably look down upon the for it. They were smart to hide behind the veil of a master and pet.
When Drake mentioned getting her food Aya smiled, eyes wandering down to the packages in his arms. "That sounds delicious! Though I could have eaten something here, you really didn't have to go through the trouble." she added, feeling a bit bad that he had gone all the way to the cafeteria for her when she had a few things in his kitchen from the shopping they had done. Though either way she was glad to see the salad and subs, fresh foods were her favorite kind. In that same moment she remembered the water in the bathroom and rushed off to turn it off lest the tub should overflow. Once her head had emerged from the water, wet hair sticking to her forehead, Aya could hear Drake's laughter. Wiping away some strands of soaked hair she pouted slightly, though she knew that he wasn't making fun of her. When he mentioned her having to stop falling into things though she smiled as well, shaking her head a little. "I've never been very coordinated I'm afraid." her voice had a tint of playfulness in it as she looked up at him. Though she fell silent and her eyes became a bit wider as he began undressing right there. She looked away, though couldn’t help but glance back at him once or twice, cheeks red as she did so.
Her eyes had been averted when he lifted her and so she was a bit surprised, looking back at the vampire as he slid himself into the tub and pulled her back against his strong chest. Drake knew just how to deal with Aya. Had he asked her if he could join her in the tub she wouldn’t have known how to react. In this way his boldness was necessary and a surprisingly good way to interact with Aya. She could never be offended by anything Drake did…she was his after all. With a hurried nod Aya looked down at the water. “I’m alright, not hurt at all…” Her voice was so quiet, enhanced only by the echo of the bathroom tiles. The way he rested against her so relaxed seemed out of character for such a man. Something told her that Drake was never so calm as this, simply because he was never like this in the public eye, only when he was alone with her. She didn’t even mention him being in the bath with her, unsure of what she would even say about it. When he kissed her cheek however she couldn’t stop the smile that graced her feather soft lips as she glanced back at him, letting herself relax as well. The warm water engulfed most of her body, making everything but Drake feel so far away. Never had a bath seemed so calming before. “Drake…this is…nice.” she whispered timidly, letting him know in the smallest way how she enjoyed his arms around her, his body pressed to her own. Slender fingers glided across the surface of the bath water and Aya let her thoughts wander for a while.
As the soaped sponge glided across her small shoulders, she was brought back to reality, glancing back at Drake as he washed her slender body. The warmth in her eyes alone told him that she was enjoying it. When he reached her stomach a soft giggle echoed through the bathroom, and she closed her eyes, squirming slightly. Aya had always been a bit ticklish and the bubbles against her bare abdomen had triggered a natural reaction. He was slow and careful in the way he washed her hair next, and she only pulled her knees up towards her chest, the water lapping about them softly as she moved. “Drake…I feel bad that you do so much for me. Isn’t a bother? I could do it you know.” she looked back at him for a moment, guilt in her eyes at the idea that he might have felt the need to do things for her when they were troublesome for him. Drake was always so caring and Aya loved it more then she could ever properly express, but it was easy to make her feel like a burden.
However it really was nice being able to just sit with him in the tub, away from the others and away from all of the problems in the world outside. Drake’s room was like their own little world where they could be what they really were, say what they really wanted, and not have to worry about anybody else. It was a haven. Her golden eyes were flecked with the light reflected about the bathroom, though soon enough they had closed and she found herself cuddled close against him, still in his lap. She stayed like this for a while, relishing in the warmth that radiated through her body at the feeling of being so close to him. Golden orbs fluttered open at the hot breath against her ear and the gentle tickle of his fingers pushing away strands of hair. A rather pleasant shiver ran down her spine from the sensations, though the feeling didn’t compare in the least to the feeling that was soon to come.
Her heart literally stopped and she forgot to breath, lips slightly parted and eyes wide. After a moment like this she blinked, taking a sharp breath of air as her cheeks flushed a deeper red than even the blood that coursed through her veins. After realizing that she had been silent for so long the human girl pulled back, turning in the tub to face him, kneeling down in the water. She now knew what that deep purple meant and it made her happier then she ever thought a simple color ever could. She did nothing to hide her flushed cheeks as she spoke. “I’ve hoped…that you would say such a thing.” she admitted shyly, her emotions distracting her form their rather exposed bodies. Her eyes drifted back to the water almost as though she was ashamed before she spoke once more. “I love…I love you too…Drake. That’s why I never want to have to leave your side. I’ll be happy for the rest of my life so long as I can be with you, slave or not. I‘ll cook for you and clean for you…and take your notes. I‘ll do whatever it takes…” It was hard for her to admit such a thing, her eyes watering slightly from happiness as she gazed up into his own. “I really am yours Drake….only yours.”
Drake smiled as he held Aya close. He didn't want to let her go, and he was glad to be having this time with her. The bath water was still nice and warm, and her skin was so soft. Drake could have sat there for hours, just stroking her skin. Drake shook his head as Aya spoke. "You're no bother to me..." He smiled and continued to wash her, and then he had told her how he felt. His cheeks were still red from having admitted his feelings from her, and a deep fear was deep inside him, a fear of her rejecting him. He couldn't say that he would blame her. He was after all a vampire. A monster hidden in a human shell. And she was a human, someone that could never be accepted for loving a vampire if the fact was known. It was the same for Drake. If anyone were to know his true feelings for her, they would both be done for. But when Drake saw the look in Aya's eyes, and saw the way she had reacted, he knew that she wouldn't be angry.
When he saw the blush on her cheeks, he smiled a little and ran a gentle hand across her cheek and into her hair. He listened to what she had to say and smiled, blushing a little again himself. He was glad to hear that Aya was happy at his side. He was glad that she never wanted to leave his side. He never wanted her to leave his side either. Drake laughed a little at the offers Aya was making, and he slowly shook his head, cradling her cheek in his hand. "Aya, shh, you don't have to do anything to stay with me." He gave her a calm smile and nodded his head. He wrapped his arms around her slowly and got up from the bath, careful to not drop her. He held her tight and close and set her down slowly once they were out. He slowly wrapped a towel around her, and then pulled his bath robe on. He picked her up again slowly and walked her out into the room, and set her down on the bed.
He leaned down to be at eye level with her, moving her hair from her face again. "Aya, I don't love you because of what you do for me, or what you could do for me. I just... Love you." He nodded his head slowly and leaned in, gently placing a light kiss on her cheek. He moved in closer to her ear, whispering to her gently. "Aya, will you promise to stay by my side, would you take immortality to stay with me?" His fangs slowly grew, and it was a test in a way. Drake wanted to make sure that Aya was dedicated to him, no matter what it took. He pressed his teeth lightly to her neck. "Would you be willing to die, to stay with me?" His hands rested gently on her hips now, and he stayed intimidatingly close to her. His eyes were looking over to hers, but the deep purple shade was back. His eyes were as deep then as they had been in the hall, and at the lake.
Drake pulled away from her slowly and looked into Aya's eyes. He saw fear in her eyes, fear and hesitation. Drake just smiled and knelt slowly, waiting for her answer. His hands moved slowly on to her lap and lay gently on them, crossed properly. "I won't force you to stay if you won't want to Aya." He nodded his head slowly and looked to the door. "You're free to leave whenever you want if you feel you can't dedicate yourself to me entirely the way that I have asked." He turned back to face her and sat expectantly, waiting for her to speak.
Aya could barely believe that Drake would feel no annoyance about having to do so much for her, yet it was his choice to do such things after all. She could have very well dressed herself and washed her own hair, yet having Drake doing such things seemed so much more enjoyable for whatever reason. So when he reassured her, letting her know that she wasn't a bother to him after all she felt at ease. Between his gentle touch and the temperate water lapping against her she was in bliss. Even this feeling though was nothing compared to the way her heart nearly burst from her chest only moments later. He was a vampire, and the first time she had met him there was nothing to indicate any desire for companionship or compassion. She would have never thought him to be able to love her, a human girl who was so weak and clumsy, so innocent and naive. Yet despite all this he did, he loved her and she loved him as well. Nobody would accept them being together, nobody would ever be able to understand why two so different beings could be connected so strongly, to be so in love, but they were.
The deep scarlet upon her cheeks only became more prominent as his hand ran over her skin and into her soft hair. Drake's touch was so comforting, almost intoxicating in the way it made her feel. Now that he had blood running through his veins, even though it wasn't his own, she could see his reddened cheeks and it put her even further at ease. Then he spoke of her not having to do anything to stay with him and she nodded in understanding, letting her large amber eyes drift closed for a moment, pressing her cheek gently against his chilled palm. "O-okay...Drake." was her simple yet oh so sweet reply, her voice alone showing how fond she was of this moment. Oh how she so desperately wanted to stay with him ever since their first meeting. She had always been unexplainable drawn to him, yet now there was even more reason for her to want to stay...she was in love, and her entire being slipped into felicity knowing that she wouldn't have to leave his side, that she really was his now because he wanted her to be.
As he slowly lifted her from the tub she realized how little they were both wearing and felt a sudden rush of embarrassment at the sight of her drenched bra and panties. Though all the discomfort was wiped away as the soft towel engulfed her torso and covered her up just as his robe did for Drake. Once more her figure was pressed against the silken bed and he was right there with her just as he had been since the first time. Heart racing, cheeks flushed, she listened to him, his words making her melt. "Your love...is all I need to keep me happy." she whispered to him, knowing more than anything that she loved him just as simply as he did her. There was no real reason, nothing that could be so easily explained...yet she did and it was undeniable.
His next question left her speechless for a moment and she was about to reassure him before his fangs grazed her tender flesh. Her eyes went wide and she shuddered a bit from the feeling. She was so vulnerable to him, she would never fight back against him. Those large innocent eyes started up at him and she felt as though she was frozen. He was so close to her, his breath warm against his neck and her heart skipped a beat before he pulled away and knelt close. As his back turned to her she sat up, a hesitant hand reached out to him though she soon pulled it back and bit her lower lip. "I would....I would die to stay with you." she finally whispered, her fingers running idly across her neck. Carefully her hand reached out, cupping his cheek and gently guiding him to look at her. "I'll do whatever it takes to be with you...I never want to leave." she admitted rather timidly, pulling her hand back, looking flustered yet determined.
It was the truth, she was willing to become a vampire, to do whatever it took so that they could be together. She never wanted to be without him...for once in her life there was something she wanted to badly that she would die for it. Even she herself couldn't believe this feeling, but her heart wrenched at even the thought of leaving him. She took his hand into her own, pressing it to her cheek and sliding it slowly to her neck. She offered a weak smile, eyes shining with a warm compassion as she spoke. "I didn't lie when I said I was yours Drake..." she reassured him, letting her long eyelashes brush against her rose dusted cheeks as she stayed close to him, towel slipping down slightly. After a moment like this her eyes opened, remaining soft as she gazed up at him. "Your skin is so cold, but somehow your touch still feels warm." She was ready to do whatever it took, not matter how hard it was to stay with him. Drake had saved her life and captured her heart. Pushing her hair away from her neck Aya swallowed hard, physically hesitant but mentally decided as she looked up at the man she called her master. "I'm dedicated...I promise you."
Meanwhile Kiara was still sitting in class, taking her notes as best as she could with this new distraction on her mind. Did Drake really love Aya, so much that he would be willing to risk his status and reputation? She was a human and he wasn't just a vampire...but a pure blood of all things! It shouldn't have been possible for two such people to be in love, yet the way he fought for her and looked at her made it obvious to Kiara that Drake was willing to risk it all for Aya. The way the human girl clung to such a cold vampire, looking as though nothing would hurt her in his grasp, the way that Aya was willing to give up her freedom and devote herself so completely to a man like Drake made it clear...they were in love. Shaking her head a bit Kiara groaned, knowing that it would be hard for them both in such a place, in such a world...
Drake watched as Aya moved his hand from her cheek, to her neck. A faint smile was on his lips, knowing that she would be willing to do anything it took for her to be able to stay with him. Little did Aya know, she didn't need to die to be with him. No, there was a much simpler solution. Drake wouldn't tell her... No he wouldn't tell her, not yet. But slowly, he leaned up again. His fangs were still drawn, and he moved in towards her neck... Once his mouth was out of her view, he retracted his fangs and simply kissed her neck once, suckling gently. His hands gently rubbed at her hips. After a few moments, Drake pulled away and looked into Aya's eyes. "I'm glad you're so ready and so dedicated. But... I will let you think on it. I don't want you making a rushed choice my dear Aya." Drake nodded and he got up, walking to his closet. He picked out a fresh outfit, then from his drawer, fresh boxers.
Drake looked to Ayu with a smile. "I'm going to get dressed. Once I'm dressed, and once you're dry, you can get dressed. We'll go out." He nodded his head and turned to the bathroom. He walked in and closed the door behind him. He folded his clothes over a towel bar and looked himself over int he mirror. He was starting to go pale again. He would need to feed early today. He sighed a bit and ran a hand through his long hair. His eyes were still purple. He couldn't let other vampires see this. Focusing, Drake managed to get his eyes to shift back to their normal color. Thank God. With a sigh, he took the hairbrush and brushed his hair back, leaving only a few strands dangling at the front. The rest? Pulled into a neat pony tail.
Drake pulled his wet boxers off and dried himself. He then proceeded to pull his new pants on, then the dress shirt, stuffing it in his pants. Then his vest, and the jacket. He was ready and prepped to go out. Once he looked proper, to his liking, he left the bathroom and smiled to Aya. "Ready to get dressed?" He tilted his head and handed her her dress, gloves, and everything else. "Go get ready." He nodded and walked past her. Watching as she went into the bathroom, he sat on the bed a moment in thought. He stared off into space, zoning out for a moment. A million things were running through his mind, but with a smile he came out of it.
He got up and grabbed his wallet and keys, stuffing them into his pockets. He looked around and grabbed a nice hat that would perfectly match his outfit, and stuffed it onto his head. He looked sharp. Very nice. He may have looked good before, but damn! He looked himself in the mirror again and he could swear he was steaming! He laughed a little and stood by the door waiting for Aya to come out of the bathroom. When she did, he smiled and tilted his head to her. "Are you ready to go, Ayu?" He really did look stunning, leaned against the wall with his arms crossed...
Aya's heart was racing within her chest, thudding through her whole body as she prepared herself, more than convinced that he was about to turn her right then and there. Why else would he have asked her such a thing so suddenly? Either way she was ready, Aya would go to all lengths to stay with Drake...she never wanted to be without him, her devotion was clear. Eyes shut tight she awaited his fangs, she would do anything it took, no matter how frightening or painful. When she finally felt him against her neck though it was anything but unpleasant. Aya's eyes opened almost immediately as he suckled gently at her soft neck, body relaxing against him. She bit her lower lip, restraining her sound a bit "Nnn..." The warmth rushed to her cheeks like fire, that ever becoming pink tint adorning her cheeks once again. The hands brushing against her hips so tenderly only made the feeling all the more flustering. His touch was gentle yet firm, always so confident in his actions, it made the human girl feel helpless, helpless to a force she would never want to fight against either way.
His words were kind, reassuring, bit still she was surprised. She had made her decision...perhaps Drake thought that she would change her mind? Aya knew that she would not, she was prepared to make a sacrifice for him like he had for her. Just taking her in as his pet in the first place was a danger to his reputation, perhaps even to his life and yet he had still helped her...and was now in love with her. All the same she just watched him, not objecting. If he wanted her to wait and answer again she would. Aya nodded to him diligently, thoughts of where they could be going running through her head as he entered the bathroom as well as thoughts of other things. She hadn't missed it, the way his eyes changed so frequently. Aya saw the way they turned to scarlet when he was angry, the way they remained deep blue when he was calm. Yet the purple...she still didn't really understand it until now. They were only ever purple for her, reflecting light so beautifully like a rare gem as he watched her, looking at his 'pet' with such a fond look. She finally understood now, why his eyes turned that deep beautiful shade. It was a shade of affection...it showed that he really did love her, undeniably.
When he finally emerged from the bathroom once more Aya's eyes drifted over is form, taking in every detail. He always looked so elegant, even if they were just going down the hall he was sure to look his best. Then again, Drake was a very handsome man, why shouldn't he take pride in it? "Yes, Drake." She took her clothes from him without question and smiled warmly, glancing up at him once more before running off into the bathroom to get herself changed. Slowly the girl slipped off her wet bra and panties, shivering slightly before letting them fall onto the ground. She fished through the clothes that Drake had handed her, finding a pair of boyshorts and a rather comfy looking bra. They matched, as always, this time they were simple black with elegant white ribbon accents.
She slipped into her usual dress, pulling it up and wiggling about a bit before zipping it up and letting out a sigh of content. Looking at herself in the mirror Aya frowned a bit, Drake looked so amazing...almost breathtaking and here she was still a mess from her fall into the tub. She took a deep breath, determined to look her best for Drake before leaving the bathroom. With that the girl went to work, brushing her hair slowly, being sure to keep every piece of hair smooth and silky the way Drake always had when he brushed it for her. Once the blond hair was to her liking Aya moved to her face, running a hand over her smooth skin. She pursed her lips for a moment, thinking of what she could do before pulling out some mascara and brushing it over her already long eyelashes. This only made that bright amber color pop more, somehow making her more innocent looking than ever before. She left the rest on it's own, never having had worn much make-up to begin with.
With care she clasped the collar about her slender neck, brushing her fingers lightly over the "D" that hung down above her chest. After slipping on her gloves and socks she stepped into her mary-janes. Grabbing the pink, intricate rose hairpiece from the counter she positioned it in her hair and looked herself over once more. Deciding there wasn't much else she really could do, Aya stepped into the bedroom slowly. The first thing she caught sight of was Drake leaned against the wall so nonchalantly in a hat she hadn't seen before. With a bit of a giggle she walked to him. "Yes, I'm ready Drake! Where are we going though?" she questioned softly, spinning once before finally arriving at his side. "That hat is very becoming of you though." she mentioned softly, ever so slightly embarrassed as always. Eagerly she opened the door of the room, taking Drake by the arm and carefully tugging him with her before they got into the hallway. Once they were in the eyes of the student body Aya sighed, falling back a good ways away from Drake and lowered her head. She was still nothing but a human pet in their minds.
Drake smiled as Aya came out of the bathroom prepared. He held the door open for her and, as she stepped out, he followed, closing the door behind him and locking it. He took his normal lead ahead of her and shoved his hands nonchalantly into his pockets, walking toward the school parking lot. Of course, where else would he go to find his car? When they got to it, Drake opened the door for Aya, making sure she got in and got buckled. Once she had, he moved over to the driver's side door and slipped in as well. He pulled his keys from his pocket and put the car key in the ignition. With a roar, the engine came on, and Drake backed out of the lot. He made his way down the school road, making his way to the main road.
Once he had made it there, he turned left to go to town. He looked to Aya with a smile. "We're going to have a little fun today." He nodded his head, turning his attention back to the road. His hand gripped the steering wheel as it always did, allowing him to weave in and out of the flowing traffic. He was a scary driver. Talented and skilled... But scary! He had just barely missed so many cars that it was amazing they were still in one piece! In any case, he moved gracefully through the traffic before he pulled into the town mall. He looked around carefully for a parking spot, before finding out that was relatively close to the doors of the mall. He shifted into park, took off his seat belt, and smiled. He got out of the car, got the door for Aya, took her hand, and led her inside.
Once inside, Drake looked around and looked at the mall map. The 'you are here' arrow indicated they were about a 3 minute walk from where Drake was taking Aya. He nodded his head and led the way, tugging her along gently as he moved. He looked from face to face of people that looked at them. Some admiring his looks. Some admiring hers. And some weird looks because of the outfits. Drake shrugged them off and closed his eyes some, continuing the path to where he had chosen to take Aya. When they got there, a big smile played on his face and he turned to Aya. "Surprise!" Was all he said.
They stood in front of a massive lingerie store, with tons of bras, panties, corsets, bustiers, and even bikini sets. Drake had a smirk on his face. "We're going to get you some new, sexier panties and bras." He nodded, pulling her inside carefully. "You're going to try some on, show them to me, and together, we're going to pick which ones you buy." He nodded his head, taking a seat on a chair that was between the change rooms and the display racks. He crossed his arms, and folded one leg over the other. "Go on, have fun. Price isn't an issue." He nodded again to her.
