Drake watched Aya closely as he noticed that she had took to walking behind him like a good slave. This had put a smile on his face, if even for the time being, and he walked silently along the halls. Like a tell tale sign of his relaxation and nonchalant nature, Drake pushed his hands into the tight pockets of his pants as he walked, his eyes examining the morning sun peering over the great walls of the school into the courtyard. Birds could be heard singing, and squirrels were hunting for food, while butterflies floated on by. For a moment, Drake had a mental picture of a beautiful butterfly clip in Aya's hair, and made a mental note to have one made in the same pink that was on her new uniform. He looked back once more and locked his eyes to Aya with a smirk. She was following along obediently, and she was almost happy to be where she was. Anyone could see that she was unhappy, but Drake knew that this was just an act in case other vampires were wandering the morning halls. He was glad that Aya listened so well, it made this situation so much easier.
Drake half yawned and tilted his head back a bit, feeling the bones crack. He sighed with content as the tension left his body, tilting his head from side to side for the moment. He slowed his pace until Aya was at his side, then continued, keeping only slightly ahead of her. He didn't want her to fall too far behind him, but he wasn't to let her walk in front of or beside him, because that could foil their plan. Good for him that he chose not to keep her too close, because one of the vampires that had attacked her the day before decided to wander down the hall. Though he said nothing, he gave Drake a glare, and then one to Aya, but Drake only snarled a warning growl and continued the walk to the human campus. It wouldn't be long until they would need to cross over via the linking bridge of the two wings. It was forbidden for the humans to come in, and forbidden for the vampires as well. Drake didn't care, this was a special occasion, and it would be one of the last times he ever crossed that line, as well as Aya. He had every intention of taking her food shopping that day after school, because he knew she needed to eat, and he knew they couldn't keep coming this way.
It was only another minute or so before they got to the bridge, and once they had crossed, the cafeteria was only a short walk away. So this time, Drake let Aya lead the way, after all, he didn't know his way around, and she did. Besides, there was no one here to fool. Even though he knew they would get looks and questions, he didn't need them asking anything that was too personal. Drake smiled as they found the cafeteria, watching as Aya ordered her meal. However, when he friends began to crowd, he began to feel anxious to leave. There were too many eyes on them, and they either needed to be distracted, or they needed to be told to leave. Drake only kept his hands in his pockets as the questions began coming out, his eyes cool and calm, his complexion cold and solid. Soon however, at the question of the outfit, Drake's eyes went hard with worry and shifted to Aya. Thankfully, she had remembered the explanation of the uniform and he nodded to her, reassuring her that she had done and said the right thing. Drake's eyes wandered around to each person around them, until they befell a boy, a boy that Drake almost immediately didn't like.
Protectively, Drake stepped up behind Aya with a hand on her shoulder, a charming smile playing on his lips. "Hey ladies, and gentleman." His eyes shot a glare to Mitch. "I'm Aya's guide for her new class! in the next few days she will be moved to a new school entirely, and she's just here to eat and say good bye." He nodded his head and adjusted her cape to hide the bite marks on her neck. "She didn't want to leave without saying good bye, and so I escorted her off campus to come see you all." Drake looked at the chef behind the counter who had just finished the salad, and his long arm reached out to grab it. "Sadly, we must be off, or else Aya here will be late for class." With a quick nod of his head, he turned to leave, waving back at the others, but his eyes still shot a glare to Mitch. "Pleasure meeting you all." With his last line, Drake had a bit of a sinister tone to it. He knew what Mitch was feeling for Aya, and he didn't like it one bit. He wouldn't let that boy come near her if he could help it. So, silently, he tugged Aya along until they were out, leaving back to their campus.
He patted Aya's head approvingly, nodding to her. "Great job back there." He gave her a short smile before shoving his hands back into his pockets, the salad under his arm. With expression was calm once more, nonchalant, peaceful. He was glad that Aya had handled the situation so well, but there was something about that Mitch boy that ate at his head. "That boy... What was his name? I didn't like him. He looked at you as if you were property." His fangs had come out instinctively, and his eyes were hard. "He rubs me the wrong way, please stay away from him." Drake looked at Aya. "You know it's best that you stay away from them all, but I only request that you stay away from him." He nodded his head, his decision final. He knew that Aya would agree, and he was glad for it. He hoped he'd never have to talk to that Mitch boy, but he had a feeling that he just might have to deal with him sometime. He sighed and walked along silently.
Aya's eyes wandered over the scene in the courtyard as well, smiling inwardly though she wouldn't do so visibly to others. The hem of her dress played along her milky thighs and slender fingers remained intertwined in front of her as she walked, looking at her feet for a good while. If she kept her eyes lowered she would seem unhappy and oppressed just as she was supposed to. It was so peaceful outside and it put her at ease as she followed carefully behind Drake. She really was content where she was, being with him even though they had to keep up with this ruse. Then again it was only a bit of a ruse; in a way she was his slave and he treated her as such even in private if only a little. The only difference was their emotions that had to be hidden, and the extent to which he controlled her. She knew her place when they were in the public eye though, and was sure to think carefully about each thing she did so that things would be easier for both her and Drake alike. She didn't want to upset him, after all he was all she had here...he was all she had left anywhere.
When one of the boys who had pinned her down came down the hall Aya felt her heart rate quicken. She was frightened, but why wouldn't she be after what he had intended to do to her. His glare shot right through her and she looked away, staying close enough to Drake to feel safe, but still in her place behind him. The sound of Drake's rumbling growl seemed to calm her as the boy continued walking. Being with him really was the safest she could be in this part of the school and she allowed herself to breath more calmly. Once he had passed them and turned down a new corridor Aya smiled softly and briefly to Drake, showing how he put her at ease. He was her master and a good one at that, he knew how to treat her and how to keep her safe. In return she would stay loyal to him through it all....even when she didn't have to be his slave per say.
Drake seemed much more composed than Aya during the barrage of questions, yet she knew that deep down he was probably a bit anxious as well. At his nod she knew she had done well and let out a soft sigh of relief before looking at Mitch who had apparently just complimented her. Not a word left her lips before Drake came behind her, his arm slipping about her shoulders. She felt her body and mind relax as he spoke, looking up at him what that fondness that she had for no other. Not only did Mitch notice this, but the glares from Drake were painfully obvious to him as well. Mitch huffed a bit at the interruption and shot a glare right back, though once Aya's eyes fell upon him he smiled. This boy really did feel something for Aya and he disliked Drake just as much as he did him.
The girls about them only stared in awe, looking mesmerized by Drake's voice and appearance. None of the human boys looked anything like him, nowhere near as dashing. On top of that Aya was also unusually beautiful and well put together. They whispered amongst themselves, feeling a bit jealous that Aya was able to be around him but also happy for her. Girls were like that at times, yet Mitch on the other hand felt no happiness about this new situation and even less about the fact that she was apparently transferring schools. Mitch ignored Drake and looked back at Aya, his glare fading once more as he smiled a little. "Aya, we're gonna miss you. Lets try to all get together again before you leave." he said with a bit of hopefulness in his voice, but Aya only looked at Drake, glad when he started to pull her away. The girls gave Aya one last hug and smiled at Drake. "It's our pleasure!" they shouted after the two and Mitch went back to his table brooding a bit. "She could talk for herself you know..." he muttered under his breath as he was walking away.
Aya smiled to herself when Drake pat her head, glad to have earned his praise. She was afraid she may have done something wrong, but he seemed pleased with her and so she could relax, lagging a bit behind him once more as they returned to their side of the campus. When Drake asked about the boy Aya thought back to the only one who had really seemed to stick out and looked up at Drake. "That was Mitch..." she said softly before biting her lower lip. "Did he really?..." she really didn't notice the way boys seemed to react to her at times, and in her mind Mitch was just another guy from her class. She noticed his fangs and realized just how much Mitch had bothered him, still unsure of why but she nodded all the same. She placed her hand reassuringly on Drake's for a moment and looked into his eyes. "I'll stay away from him." she said plainly, understanding that if there was that much worry from someone like Drake then it was probably best to listen despite how nice the boy seemed.
Quickly she released his hand once more, not wanting to ruin their cover before they arrived at the courtyard. There was still a bit of time before class and so Aya set to work on eating her salad quickly. Despite her rush she still ate like a lady, very carefully and with small bites. She had been taught proper table manners by her guardian and so she knew well enough how to act. With the first few bites she closed her eyes, smiling a bit at the taste. She loved the salads that the school offered and really did need it after her ordeal the day before. This would give her enough energy for the next class at least, so it was good enough until they got proper food to keep in her dorm. She kept her eyes on her food for a while before looking up at Drake once again. The petals were falling just like before, the pink matching that of the rose sewn into her dress and she looked just as she had the day before, finally finishing her salad as her eyes locked onto his own. A single cherry blossom petal had entangled itself into her flowing hair unnoticed and she brushed another from her skirt softly.
"Master, am I going to have a leash?" she asked curiously. She had only just caught herself, about to call him Drake before realizing that there could be other vampires listening from around them. It was five more minutes before their class began and so they would have time to get there before the bell at this rate. She was still a bit worried about the class' reaction to her new scent and outfit. It was easy to see the apprehension in her bright golden eyes. She would have to do her best to be a obedient slave to him and avoid the others in the class when she wasn't by his side. She stood slowly, looking a bit healthier and much less pale after the meal. She stepped behind him and with a tender look she tilted her head. "I'll do my best for you..." she said softly, almost inaudible to any but herself and him. It was true, this was for him and herself but most of all she wanted to keep him happy. She took a deep breath, determined and ready for what was to come.
Drake nodded his head when Aya acknowledged his words, glad that she was understanding his point about Mitch. His hands fiddled idly with the keys in his pockets as he walked along, not saying anymore than he needed to, since the morning traffic had begun. Vamps were swarming the halls, some to shower, some to have a morning feed, and some just to be early for class. It was rare, but there were some vamps that wanted to be goodie goodie. Straight A's, suck ups, all around good kids. It was ironic because of what they were, but who was Drake to tell someone that they couldn't be a certain way? As long as they stayed away from him, that's all that he wanted. And though the occasional one gave a weird glance to either him or Aya, most understood who she was to him, and most didn't care. There were some that wished to cause trouble, but didn't dare go after Aya, knowing what Drake would do to them. He avoided her question so far.
Drake moved elegantly through the hall, weaving between people that past by until he made it to the courtyard entrance. He let Aya sit by the tree so she could eat, standing not too far from her to make sure that others didn't give her trouble. Finally, he decided to answer Aya, turning to face her. "I will get you a leash, and you will wear it during busy hours of school." His eyes were hard, but hidden inside were his affections for her. "You will wear it whenever I say." He turned back to watch the morning traffic, leaving her to eat silently. His hands had come out of his pockets and his arms had crossed over his chest as he leaned against the tree behind him. He closed his eyes temporarily, enjoying the morning sun on his face and the sound of the animals around him, hearing what he could past the morning shuffle. Today would be a busy day, most classes had tests today, and most were rushing to class. A half smile played on his lips as he remembered what it was like his first year in that school. Hard as hell, then he made a name for himself and things had never been the same since. He was a Junior now, and even though he wasn't a senior, even the upper class men respected him, there were some that still gave him trouble.
Drake pulled his arm free for a moment and looked at the time, noticing that they only had 5 minutes to get to their next class. With a huff, he stepped away from the tree and faced Aya. "Come slave, it's time for class, and you know what happens if we're late." His eyes were narrow for effect and his voice had a low growl, but once Aya got up, he walked off in direction for their class. People who had heard him were staring somewhat at Aya, whispering about her new status as a slave to Drake. Some of the female vampires wondered what it would be like to be with Drake all the time, and some viciously wanted to tear her neck out for it. All the males were either pissed as all hell at him, or furious they couldn't have her. Glares were shot, whispers were murmured, and rumors were started. None of it fazed Drake as he turned into his first class, pointing to a corner desk. "Slave, you sit there beside your master." He sat in the desk next to the one he had picked, eying Aya carefully as well as the other students. He was pleased to see that the ruse was working.
Drake pulled out his books and pens, getting ready to take his daily notes. Funny glares arrived from his classmates and then he remembered. He had a slave now. So, turning to Aya, he gave her his pens. "Slave, you will take all the notes today, and you will re-copy them for me as well." He nodded his head to Aya. He wouldn't make her re-copy them, but rather just copy his notes from hers. "Make sure you write EVERYTHING down." He made sure that Aya would take FULL notes the way he did. He sat back in his chair and crossed his arms, paying attention to the lesson, ignoring the glares and the whispers. He just sat there, as if nothing was happening, glancing over at Aya every now and then, giving her silent nods of approval and reassurance. He smiled at her once quickly when he saw her notes, noticing how neatly written and organized they were. He was proud of her. He slipped her a note that told her they would be getting her food today.
Once class was over, they shuffled to their next class, where for all four classes of the day, they had the same routine. She would take her notes his way, and he would put them aside to copy them later. Once all their classes were over, Drake dragged Aya to the school parking lot, and to his car. "Get in, we're going to the supermarket." His keys jingled in his hand as he opened the door and slid in. Once Aya was in and buckled, he started the car and sped off into the city, finding the biggest supermarket he could find. "What kind of food do you like?" He looked at her as he parked. "You can get anything you want here." He pulled out his wallet and handed her all the money inside, which was about five hundred dollars. "Want me toe coem with you, or stay here and wait?"
Aya's eyes wandered from Drake's back to the vampires around them. Many were watching them and she bit her lip nervously, fingers interlacing with the ruffles of her dress as she lowered her gaze. They were whispering, talking, and some were even sniffing the air at the smell of her sweet blood. One of the seniors smirked at her when she glanced up, looking as though he was about to pounce at her and yet he didn't, knowing that Drake was right there. Her heart was racing and this only drew more attention to the frail girl as she walked through a hallway of predators. She looked nervous and frightened, playing her part well as she walked directly behind her master, being sure to stay close but not too close just as she had been told when they first met. The cherry blossom petal that had been entangled into her hair was brushed loose by a breeze from the courtyard windows and floated up above her, landing on the senior who had been eying her. He grinned to himself and took the petal between two fingers, gazing almost longingly at Aya as Drake led her to their class.
When he spoke to her there was a clash of gold and blue, their eyes meeting. She could see how he tried to glare at her, and yet his eyes had a purple tint to them...she could see the gentleness hidden behind the harsh look. She gave a nod, not saying a word and only lowering her head respectfully at his decision. She wondered what it would be like...wearing a leash but figured she would find out soon enough. She didn't want to risk acting too friendly, and so she just looked back to her food, idly fingering along her collar. She does her best to relax now that they're outside and most of the other vampires wouldn't venture into the sun directly. Right after finishing she looks up at Drake and stands, following after him, her dress blowing about her thighs "Yes master". Her voice was still so soft, so gentle, not a single person would doubt that a man like Drake could overpower her both mentally and physically. She tried to ignore all others around her but Drake, closing her eyes for a moment to get focused before following him diligently once again.
The senior from earlier glared at Drake when they entered the building once more, though Aya wasn't looking. She did however notice the rather intimidating vampire girls who looked as though they wanted to kill her on the spot for being able to spend so much time with Drake. Never had he shown any interest in them and it made them furious that a mere human had now gotten him all to herself. They didn't care that she was a slave, most of them would have become one for him if he had ever asked anyway, Drake was powerful and handsome after all. Aya tried to slow her heartbeat, brushing a loose strand of her hair behind her ear and looking up when they finally reached the classroom. Taking her seat beside Drake she took the pen and paper. "I'll do my best master." she replied to him, listening to the lesson more intently than she had before and taking down the notes as carefully as she could manage with the feeling of so many watching her.
Her gloved hand flowed silently across the paper, taking down the notes just how Drake would have, hoping that she was doing well. She looked so graceful, so engulfed in pleasing her master. So many of the boys wanted to have her as their own for not only her blood but her obedience, yet she would rather die than be taken from Drake's side at this point. Aya would always be his despite what those around them felt. She would deal with the ridicule, the glares and rumors so long as he was watching over her. At his quick reassuring smile her cheeks became ever so slightly pink as she smiled only with her eyes. She was trying so hard to hold back from looking happy and yet that quick smile of his made her eyes light up for a moment none the less. As she read the note about the food she glanced at him fondly, silently letting him know that she understood before they went to their next class.
It was the same routine, she took the notes and in her mind he was the only one with her. It was good that he was beside her, blocking her from the prying eyes of their peers as she worked. One of the female vampires growled at her while walking by and Aya didn't lift her eyes from the paper, ignoring the girl and acting as a slave should, though deep down she was frightened, her breath quickening a bit. "Hello Drake..." she girl whispered seductively to him as she passed, giving him a bit of a wink in hopes of earning his attention. The fact that he was so indifferent to many only made her want him more, but she would have to get the little slave girl out of the way first.
Aya was surprised when he suddenly pulled her to the parking lot and told her to get into the car. "O-okay..." she stuttered before hopping into the passenger's side. As they drove off a soft sigh of relief left her plump pink lips and her body relaxed dramatically against the seat. It was obviously hard to act so properly around the school grounds and even just this little moment of relaxation made her happy. She looked content, eyes shut and lips slightly parted in a gentle smile. When he asked what kind of food she liked her eyes opened once more, scanning over his rugged face. "Um....well just about anything.." she answered hesitantly, looking up at the supermarket they had pulled into and then back to him. She smiled a bit more noticeably when he said she could get anything she wanted and took the money from him gently.
Seeming surprised she handed him back three hundred dollars from what he had given her and shook her head. "I can't spend so much of your money on food. After all we'll have to be able to bring it to the room easily right?" she reassured him before looking down at the left over two hundred. He really must have been rich to be carrying so much around normally, but she didn't care how rich he was, it made no difference in her mind. "I'll go, I don't want you to have to follow me around just so I can buy food." she said thoughtfully before hesitantly brushing her hand against one of his own and exiting the car. She wished she could have done more for him yet knew that this was best for now.
It took her about half an hour to shop, getting the things she could eat and many that wouldn't go bad for a while. People had looked at her strangely, commenting about her outfit to themselves and seeming curious about the collar. Though, many of the shoppers seemed to find the outfit elegant and thought of her as some rich heiress or something of that sort. Aya looked a bit strained as she carried six bags to the car, three clenched in each hand carefully. Opening the trunk she put them in with a bit of a groan, her hands slightly red from the weight, but she had managed. When she came back around to the front she smiled at Drake and plopped herself back into her seat. "That should be enough for a while, and I have some money left." she said holding out fifty dollars to him. Aya bought most of the less expensive things because it was what she was used to eating, so it wasn't hard to keep her fed.
"Thank you so much." she said sincerely, gazing up at him with a look that shone through for him and him alone. "You've been taking such good care of me and I...well I really can't thank you enough." she admitted timidly. Her cheeks became a bit flushed once more and she lowered her head, not daring to look at him as she spoke. "Please feel free to drink from me whenever you need it...even if it's more than once a week." she took a deep breath and closed her eyes, a single tear slipping down her cheek. "Just please....please don't make me leave your side. I'll do everything you want if I can just stay with you. I don't understand it....but even being your slave would make me happier than being a wife to somebody else." her voice faded into a whisper and she stayed looking at her feet, knowing that she should have said such a thing.
Drake's driving skills were impeccable. They were all you would expect from someone as graceful as him. He weaved in and out of traffic, avoiding red lights and road blocks with ease. It was almost as if he knew where everything would be placed before they even made it to the location. They past car after car, stores, pedestrians, and many other small locations between their school and the supermarket. He pulled in carefully to the massive parking lot, finding a spot that was close so Aya wouldn't need to walk far. He unbuckled his belt, assuming she would want him to go in, but when he was told that she would be okay on her own, he nodded and sat back. He didn't expect to be handed back $300 out of the $500 he gave her, but he slipped it back into his wallet none the less. He figured she knew what she was doing, so once she was gone, he turned on the radio, sat back, and closed his eyes. Music always seemed to relax him, and it was his favorite way of passing the time. Sometimes hours would go by with him feeling as if it had only been minutes.
Drake almost drifted off to sleep as he waited for Aya. He thought of the day, remembering how she spoke, and how she acted. Mentally, he was studying every little detail, seeing if there was any one thing out of place. It didn't seem to him that there was, but he needed to make sure. Aya and him had everyone fooled. The way she spoke to him, the way he treated her. All was going so well, and he couldn't see a fatal flaw in the plan yet. Thankfully, anyway. Drake's breathing was low, quiet, as the music flowed through his head. He didn't know how long it had been, and he didn't care if Aya took a century in the store, as long as he could listen to this song forever. It was an orchestrated piece, something that was on a random mix CD of his shoved into the player. Not that he minded it. Drake listened to all kinds of stuff, and this happened to be one of his favorite tracks. He nearly jumped out of his skin when he heard the car trunk open and slam shut, jolting up in his seat, looking around. When he spotted Aya, he took a deep breath and relaxed.
He waited for her to get in before starting the engine again. He took the money that was left over and shoved it into his pocket. His eyes widened a moment when Aya spoke, but he stayed calm, taking his time to pull out of the parking lot. "You would rather..." her words rang through his head and he could hardly believe she had even said it. But it put a smile on his face, and he nodded his head to her. While driving down the road, he kept looking to Aya from time to time. "Are you sure you're going to have enough? I didn't see what you grabbed, but you didn't use a lot of money." He drove with one hand firmly gripped on the steering wheel, the other resting on the gear shift. He began weaving in and out of traffic again, moving his hand from the gear shift to Aya's, giving it a little pat. "You did good today by the way. The way you were acting and the way you listened." He didn't lie, he was, and what she had said moments ago had only made him happier and given him more confidence about the whole situation. He gripped her hand in his for a moment.
Drake moved his hand back to the steering wheel when he took his next turn, taking a right turn into a pet store parking lot. He picked out a parking spot and parked the car, taking his belt off before pulling the keys from the ignition. He turned to Aya and nodded toward the store. "I've got to make a stop in there for Damian. I'll be back out in a few minutes." He slid out of the car, and seemed to float to the store. He wasn't in there longer than 5 minutes, coming back out with a large bag of cat food, and a bag about the same as the cat food of litter. Drake didn't get out much, so when he did, he made sure to stock up enough to last until the next time he ventured out. He added the cat food and litter to the trunk before plopping back into the car, igniting the engine, and taking off to a few more stops. By the time they had gotten back to the school, the sun was already starting to set, and Drake had bought about $400 worth of stuff for him alone, not including the $150 of food for Aya. Once hey were back, he speed dialed a number on his cell, and in moments, there were people there to help them carry everything in. Drake carried nothing, and Aya only her food.
Once inside, Drake took Aya's bags from her and began to carefully organize and store her food in the cupboards and the fridge, making sure it all had it's own little place. Once that was done, he moved to his bags and pulled out many things. From one bag, he pulled out a nice long dress, and a few other female garments, opening his closet. He placed everything on hooks and hung it all up in specific parts of the closet. "Aya, these are your weekend clothing." He nodded. "They aren't special made, but they are elegant enough to represent who you are." He turned back to her, closing the door. "when my tailor is back, I will have him make you better clothing. And I won't let you say no." With a nod, he returned to silently putting his stuff away before greeting Damian, his cat, and feeing him. He then turned to Aya, brushing her hair once more. "Will you be sleeping in the same clothes as last night tonight?"
Aya was surprised to see Drake so startled but was glad that she hadn't scared him all too badly when he relaxed once more. She had been so worried about his reaction to her words, thinking that he would have been upset, but instead there was no a smile upon his face. She felt her whole body become warm, a fluttering in her stomach caused her lips to form a soft smile as well. It was unexpected to say the least, but she was glad that her statement had actually made him happy. Wiping away the single tear from her cheek, she looked up at him with timid affection shining in her eyes. "Oh, well I bought enough for a while at least..." she said softly, thinking about the food she had picked out. "I do tend to buy inexpensive things though...I think it's a habit." Aya had never really had enough money to buy expensive groceries so one hundred and fifty dollars was enough to feed her for a while if she used it properly. Most of the things she chose needed to be cooked anyway so they generally had more than one serving in them as opposed to canned food. Not to mention, it would probably better in the long run since canned food had preservatives in it and she was a pretty good cook anyway.
As his hand fell upon her own Aya's gaze shifted down before moving back up to his face. She was glad to be praised and her face lit up for a moment as she felt his hand close softly around her own. "I'm glad I've made you happy." she said with a gentle look "I'll continue doing my best." with a soft nod she glanced out the window. She really was excited to have done well and wanted to keep making him proud, but it wasn't just for making him happy either. For the good of both of them and for them to be able to stay close to each other she had to do this, and so she would be his complete slave in the public eye, a devoted companion of sorts in private. When his hand was placed back on the steering wheel hers want back to resting placidly on her lap. At times they acted like an awkward couple that was just starting out. At others they acted like a slave and master to the fullest of the description. Though they were completely opposite ways of acting, in reality they were a bit of each. Even if it weren't for the ruse they had to preform they would still act a bit like slave and master. It was how their personalities worked and though it wouldn't be to such an extreme as they played off, she would have still been devoted to him just as strongly as a slave.
She gave him a bit of a nod when he left the car, listening to the mixed CD for a while until he came back with cat food and liter. She smiled a bit when he got back in. "So your cat's name is Damian?" she asked curiously, tilting her head a bit. "He's a very sweet animal, but I'm afraid I scare him a little." she admitted, remembering how the cat had shied away when she tried to pet it. It was probably only because she was new that Damian was frightened, but she wasn't sure if he liked people other than Drake at all. There were many more stops before they finally got back to the school, and each time Aya watched him slip in through the doors with that grace that never seemed to leave him. He really was very elegant in the way he carried himself and dressed, never would one have thought him anything less than stunning in every way. Each long stride he took was steady, his calm demeanor barely ever faltering, it was extraordinary.
She was a bit surprised when they got back and so many people came out to carry things. Hopping out of the car, she got her bags of food and carried them back to the room with as much steadiness as she could manage. She watched as he put away the clothes and then the clothes. Her eyes wandered slowly over the dress and other clothes that she figured must have been for her since he certainly wasn't going to be wearing them. "I think they're beautiful." she said when he mentioned them not being specially made. She really didn't mind since they were very nice clothes anyway. She wasn't used to wearing such elegant things in the first place so who would she be to complain to him about the wonderful clothes he bought for her? He then mentioned getting his tailor to make her special clothing when he returned. She was about to object to being treated to such expensive things, but he had already covered not listening to her objections and so she just smiled a little, slightly embarrassed that he already knew she would oppose. "If you say so Drake...thank you." she answered, taking advantage of the short amount of time they had alone when she could actually address him by name.
At the feeling of him brushing her hair she blushed. It was an unusual feeling, but a pleasant one as well and her whole body seemed to relax at his touch. "Well, if it isn't too much trouble would I be able to get one of my nightgowns from my room to wear for the night instead?" she asked him softly. His pajamas were comfortable yet but for whatever reason she was much more comfortable wearing dresses even to bed. She had been raised always wearing skirts and dresses after all, so anything else had become uncomfortable to her. Eyes lowering to rest on her stocking clad legs she continued. "I could sleep there tonight if it would be less troublesome. I know that me staying her could maybe cause a problem." her feet shifted a bit and she ended up standing pigeon toed. Yes she was still a bit scared, but he had told her that staying at his room wasn't proper slave master behavior and so she would stay in her own if he preferred it.
Once he finished brushing her hair Aya turned to him and looked up at his face. She was a good foot shorter than him and so she had to tilt her neck quite a bit to do so, but she didn't seem to mind. For a brief moment she brushed her soft fingers against his cheek before withdrawing it with a slightly concerned look . "Drake...you didn't feed yet today did you?" she asked him softly, noticing that he was colder than usual. They were out for a good while and she was sure he must have needed nourishment after such a long day. "Are you thirsty?" Her voice was soft and her eyes innocent.
Drake brushed every strand on Aya's head until each of them was straight and untangled from the rest. He was a perfectionist, and even with her he made sure everything was perfect. When she explained she would rather sleep in her own clothing than his, he nodded, braiding her hair gently for the night. "That's fine with me, if you wish to get one of your own garments, I have no objections." He finished the braid and gently lay it over her shoulder. "You can go get it now if you wish, or I can go for you, or I can send someone for it. Either way, it's really not a problem." He nodded his head and moved in front of her. He ran a gently finger across her cheek, listening to her speak of sleeping in her own room. It made him happy to know that she knew it wasn't proper to stay with him too much, but he knew that she was still afraid, and he still wanted to make sure that she would be ok. So for one more night, he would let her stay with him. His eyes blinked at the touch of her hand on his cheek, and her question made him nervous. He knew he needed to feed soon, the urge wasn't yet dire, but he had completely forgotten to feed yet that day.
Gently, he placed his hand over hers and gave her a bit of a reassuring smile. "No Aya, I haven't fed yet, but please don't worry about it." He nodded his head. "I already know where to find my next meal." He removed her hand and placed it gently at her side. "And that reminds me as well, you haven't eaten yet either." Slowly he moved back to the refrigerator and peeked at all the food she had bought. Drake may have been a vampire, but he did know how to cook, for on occasion, he indulged in human food. He had made a few attempts at cooking in the past, and they didn't turn out too badly. So he decided he would make dinner for Aya before taking off for his meal. He took out a chicken breast cutlet that she had bought, some green onions, potatoes, and a bag of mixed veggies that he had in the back of his freezer. He began to cook in the chicken and onions in a pan with soy sauce, garlic powder, celery salt, and pepper, covering the chicken to let the steam cook the top as the bottom was fried. He peeled and cut the potatoes, dropping them into water to boil, letting them soften before frying them too in a separate frying pan. He then boiled the veggies. Once everything was ready, he put it all neatly in a plate and set it on the kitchen table for her with a fork and a knife. "Dinner is ready." He smiled. Preparing the whole meal had taken about 45 minutes, and now he was getting close to the danger zone with his feeding.
He moved away from the table and let Aya sit, watching her look at the food. He half smiled, and pulled out his little black book of names, flipping through the pages. He would go after the person he was to feed on the night before. He still had the address and the name. He nodded to himself and through on his suit and cape. "I've got to go let the others know it's time to feed. I'll be off to feed myself when I do." He clipped his cape at the neck, much like hers had been that day. "I shouldn't be gone longer than an hour. Feel free to do what you wish while you're here. There isn't much to do but, you can stay here again tonight if you wish to." He nodded, now at the door. His hand was firmly on the knob, and he knew that if he didn't leave soon, Aya would offer to let him feed from her. He didn't want to do that to her twice in a row, and he had agreed that once a week was fine enough. So, before he could hear what she had started saying, he swung the door open and disappeared into the courtyard. The door slammed shut behind him, and Aya was left to her dinner and to the room. She had the freedom to eat, bathe, and sleep all she wanted.
Only few moments had passed before the same hissing and growling sounds she had woken to the day before in the courtyard could be heard. The vampires were going insane tonight. The hissing and growling grew louder as vampires jumped over the building and out into the world, and faded as they disappeared into the distance. For a moment, Drake landed on his window and smiled at Aya with all his vampire features in full effect. Gold eyes with red rim, long, sharp fangs, and that so very attracting allure. But, Drake was gone in the blink of an eye, off to feed. The night was still young, and Drake knew that he would be able to feed without a problem, as well as the other vampires. He also knew that now, there was no one to bother Aya, because the only vampires left in the building were the veggie-vamps. They wouldn't feed on a human, and all Aya had to do was go to her room. He knew she would be ok. If anything, he knew that the veggie-vamps would befriend her and help him protect her. He may have hated the veggie-vamps for what they were, but never for who they were. They were good people, he could admit that much.
When Drake found his target, the man was in his home, sitting quietly watching TV. Drake couldn't believe how simple the lives of ex-convicts were. You wouldn't think to see them acting and living like normal people, but over half the time, that was the case. There was very few who seemed to fall back into their old ways, which disappointed Drake. It was the bad ones he liked. These kinds, the ones that try to do good, they were always a little bit harder to kill. But with a sigh, Drake was on the prowl, hunting and stalking his prey, waiting for the opportune moment to strike. Sure enough, it seemed the man had ordered take out. When the door opened, Drake quickly moved inside, of course remaining unnoticed by the human. It didn't take long before the door was shut again and the man was moving to his chair once more, and that's when Drake struck. In seconds, he had the man on the ground, neck tilted. His fangs were sharper than they had ever been, and his eyes were fully red now. He quickly sunk his teeth into the jugular vein of the neck, and drank his victim dry. Oh how good it felt to feed...
Drake cared for her as though she were a doll, but it didn't bother Aya in the least surprisingly. In a way it would be good as well because if she was always taken care of by him and always looked perfect then it would make her status as his slave more believable. His hands moved so skilfully through her hair, gracefully braiding it loosely for the night. She looked up at him with large eyes once he had finished, feeling rather pampered by her 'master'. "You don't have to trouble yourself, I can get it." she reassured him softly, knowing just as well as he did that she would be safe while most of the vampires were out feeding for the night. As his finger ran down her soft cheek, a shiver ran down her spine, yet not a shiver of discomfort. In fact her body reacted this way because of how much she enjoyed his touch against her soft skin. He was so much more gentle when they were alone like this, still dominant of course but much sweeter to her. Though, as her hand pressed against his cool skin he seemed nervous, as though he were worried about getting too bloodthirsty around her. She understood though, he didn't want to have to feed from her and so she would be happy to let him go out and feed without an objection.
When his hand cupped over her own, she smiled tenderly, nodding her head in understanding. When he headed to the kitchen she followed, shaking her head a bit. "Oh no no, Drake I can cook for myself." she said, feeling as though she were bothering him if he cooked her food when he couldn't even eat it. Though e seemed to ignore her protesting, only continuing the process of preparing her meal. He seemed to know what he was doing and already a delicious scent filled the air. Finally giving up she sat and watched him, studying how he cooked his dish and wondering how it would turn out. Drake seemed to like caring for Aya, she wasn't sure if it was true but he already did so much for her when she could have done half of the things herself. Once he had finished, her eyes were a bit wide and she looked down at the meal he had set on the table. The smile upon his lips made her feel warm and she smiled back sweetly. "Thank you so much, it looks delicious." she said sincerely, excited to try the new dish. She could tell already that it would be delicious.
She took her seat by the plate and looked at the food, figuring out what each thing was before sticking her fork into a piece of the chicken. She placed the piece of food into her mouth and chewed it slowly, taking in all the flavors he had cooked it in and smiling. She seemed to really enjoy it, a sound of contentment leaving her lips once she had swallowed. She nodded at him once more as he spoke, knowing that it would be good for him to go feed anyway. "Alright, I'll be here when you get back." she said with a gentle smile, biting her lip a bit before adding a soft. "Be careful...." She knew it was a strange thing to say to a vampire, but she wanted to know that he would come back safe none the less.
Once he was gone, she continued eating, enjoying the food he had prepared for a good twenty minutes before she had finally finished and washed her plate and utensils. When she glanced to the window once more, Drake was there, in all of his glory as a vampire. She blinked and blushed slightly at how appealing she found his alluring vampire physique, though within only moments he was gone again. With a deep breath, she walked into his bedroom, preparing herself a bit before she finally decided to venture to get her nightgown. Opening the door slowly she slipped out, trying to stay quiet as she did so, her collar still upon her neck to show her ties to Drake. Light footfalls led her down the hall, and soon enough she was in the girl's dorm wing. There weren't many people around, only vampires who looked less than intimidating and more interested in Aya than anything else. The air was calm as though she could feel there were no bad intentions.
Soon enough though, a female approached her and smirked a bit. Aya took a step back and looked at the ground before the girl shook her head gently. "No dear don't worry I'm a veggie-vamp I'm not going to hurt you." Aya was a bit surprised but nodded all the same. "My name's Kiara, I wanted to introduce myself." she said in a bit of a kinder tone. Aya offered a soft smile and nodded. "I'm Aya, it's wonderful to meet you." she said sincerely, glad that there seemed to be at least one more kind vampire among them. Kiara seemed happy and took one of Aya's hands into her own. "I know you're Drake's slave, and I'm so sorry you have to suffer such a fate, but lets be friends okay?" the girl said, obviously not timid like Aya was. Aya paused for a moment, thinking carefully of how she should respond before nodding. "It can be very hard..." she whispered before looking up at the female vampire once more. "I would really like that though." Already she had made a friend, and one that wouldn't drink from her either none the less. Kiara nodded and released Aya's hand, continuing down the hall. "See you later hun!" she called back before starting to talk with some of the other veggie-vamps lingering in the halls.
Aya let out a soft sigh of relief, sure that she had answered well enough to please Drake. She was glad to know that there were others that were kind like him around. Kiara seemed like she would be a good friend to have, and maybe it would make things a little easier for poor little Aya. Remembering what she had been doing, Aya rushed to her room, grabbing a black silk nightgown, the best one she had. She knew that if she brought anything less than her best Drake would be sure to try and get something better made for her. Once she had the nightgown she returned to Drake's room, pushing open the door with the red rose painted upon it and relaxing once more. Even though it was a small trip she was still worried to just roam around by herself with how vulnerable she was.
It had been about an hour since Drake had left to feed, but Aya desperately needed a bath, so she hurried to slip off her dress and stockings, followed by her bra and panties. She folded them carefully and set them aside before jogging into his bathroom. Shutting the door securely she started to run the bath, smiling to herself as the steam rose into the air. Once the tub was full of warm water, she lowered herself in, her whole body relaxing at the feeling of the water engulfing her form. "Nnnn....This is such a big bath." she said happily to herself, resting her head back and closing her eyes. It had been a long past few days and she needed this safe environment to rest in, Drake really was far kinder than any other man she had known, including those with hearts that beat on their own.
Once Drake had finished his meal, he licked his lips clean of any evidence that was left on his lips and stood up. The man he had fed on was pale, of course he was though, he had no blood left in his body. Drake had left only little bite marks. It didn't take much to pierce enough to drink one dry, especially when he hit the jugular dead on. Drake left the man where he had fallen, and moved to leave. He looked at what the man had ordered, and decided it might be nice to have some human food tonight. He felt like indulging, and since it was free, it was that much better. Drake only ate human food when his victims had ordered some form of take out. Why should he bother to buy any when he didn't even need it? He just liked savoring the spoils of his victims. So without hesitation, Drake grabbed the delivered food bag. It smelled delicious, and he couldn't wait to dig in. He assumed it was some sort of Chinese food, which was his favorite. He loved the chicken soo gai, and the shrimp fried rice, as well as the egg noodle stir fry. He wondered which would be in this order. He hoped at least one would be there.
When Drake turned to leave, he looked back at the clock and realized that he had already been gone an hour, and that Aya must have been a little worried. Without another wasted moment, he sped out the door back in direction of the school. Thankfully it wasn't that far, maybe only 15 minutes, 20 on a bad night, so he wouldn't be all too late. He just didn't want Aya to worry. So quietly, he rushed through trees, on top of roofs, over cars, past people. He was thankful that he couldn't be noticed because of what he was. Any normal human would need to drive to their school, and it was a two hour drive to the outskirts of town where the school was. For a vampire, it was at most, a half an hour run. It was good for them, to be so close to the humans, but so far as to not be noticed. Even though half the school WERE humans, they didn't know of the vampires. They were taught that the other wing was for storage, or other useless things such as that. He was thankful that things were this way. It protected him and the others around him, and yet... He still wondered why the head masters had the strange idea of sending in a human. He had assumed it was a test earlier. But now he didn't know.
The school came into view rather fast and he was glad. He ran through the fields on the outside of the school property before hopping the building into the courtyard. Some of the vampires that had left when he did were already back, and he nodded to them as they did to him. He hopped back up on to the roof before landing on the window of his room. As he peeked in, he didn't see Aya, but noticed the light in the bathroom under the door. He assumed that she was either taking a shower or a bath. So quietly, he let himself in and set down the food, opening the bag. He pulled out, to his surprise, all three of the items he had hoped for, and more! His eyes seemed to sparkle a moment as he began eating it, and then he walked to the bathroom door, knocking a moment before opening it a bit, standing against the frame. "I just thought I would let you know that I was back..." he said, with his mouth full with egg noodle stir fry. "In case you were worried." For someone with such grace, he didn't really care about that when he ate real food. It was too good to really be proper about it. It was the only time that he was a slob, and he could forgive himself for that at least. It was his secret addiction, and that was that.
He stood at the door and listened to her, listened to every sound. He found it relaxing, to have someone staying with him. While most would find it irritating, he enjoyed it. All his years, all he ever had was Damian, and he didn't make much noise. Half the time, Drake could swear that he was, in fact, all by himself in that big room of his, but then out of no where, Damian would come near and make his presence known. Drake loved how that cat always seemed to know when Drake was thinking about him. Just as he finished his thought, there Damian was, nuzzling up against his leg. Drake smiled with noodles hanging from his lips, kneeling down to pet his friend before the cat ran in to see Aya. Drake could tell that he was getting a little more used to her, he knew that was a good thing. So without another word, he turned back to his kitchen and put down the noodles, moving on to the chicken soo gai. It was fresh, crispy, and greasy. The best possible combination there was for this food. He dug his teeth in and made sounds of enjoyment as he ate.
He ended up making himself a plate and sitting at the kitchen table as he waited for Aya to get out of the bathtub. When he heard the light splash of the water and the drain starting, he knew she wouldn't be too much longer. He got up and picked out a bathrobe from his closet, hooking it on the door for her. "Feel free to use this, I have many." He nodded and returned to his meal, now starting to eat a little bit more civilized. He was now using a fork, sitting with one leg crossed over the other. He was enjoying every little bite now, and when he saw Aya come out of the bathroom, he smiled once at her. "Sorry I was late," he nodded, "my dinner ran a little long." he gave a little bit of a chuckle as he sat with his food. His eyes seemed to wander over any possible exposed skin she had. It looked just as soft as it felt, and he could smell her blood, which smelt as sweet as ever. He was glad to have her around.
Aya relaxed in the tub, closing her eyes and letting herself soak in the warm water. It was soothing, and she felt safe in Drake's room, knowing that the other vampires would stay away from his 'territory'. The steam around her caressed her soft skin, and it seemed like the puncture wounds were almost completely healed now. Slowly she lowered herself further down into the tub until only her eyes were above the water. There was something so nice about warm baths, they just made everything melt away. All about her body were bubbles, and so all but her head remained covered when she heard the sound of somebody entering through the window. Aya was a bit worried at first, but when there was a knock on the door she figured it must have been Drake. Any person who was trying to kill her wouldn't knock. Once the door cracked open, her suspicions were confirmed and she blushed, knowing that the bubbles covered her body but still feeling strange with him standing in the bathroom doorway.
She was even more surprised to see his mouth full of some sort of noodles. She had figured he could still eat human food, but never saw him so messy before. It made a soft giggle leave her lips and she gave him a soft nod. With a gentle smile she looked into his eyes. She really had been worried "Welcome home Drake." she said in a sweet voice. She enjoyed having somebody to welcome back when they returned. So much of her life was spent alone that it was something she wasn't used to. When Damien ran into the bathroom to greet her, Aya smiled. "Oh, you're not afraid of me anymore!" she said happily, pulling one hand from the water and drying it on a towel before stroking the cat's soft fur. "You're so cute." she said fondly, smiling at the furry creature. After Drake and Damien had both left the bathroom and shut the door, Aya relaxed, finishing up her bath and washing herself quickly. Now she would be even more presentable as Drake's pet.
She heard him talk about using something, but once she peaked out to see it was a bath robe she smiled. "I'm alright, I think I'll get changed in here." she said politely before shutting the door once more. Sure she was his now, but that didn't mean she was comfortable lounging around half naked in his room, Aya was still a timid girl. After drying off as well as she could, Aya slipped into the black silk nightgown and a pair of panties. She wrapped the towel around her long golden hair for a bit before finally letting it down. It was dry enough not to make her nightgown wet so that was good enough for now at least. When she walked out of the bathroom and he smiled at her she felt a bit of a jump in her heart. It was nice to see him happy and she couldn't help but to smile back ever so gently. "It's alright, I was only a little worried, I know you can handle yourself." she reassured, taking a seat beside him on the soft couch. She then remembered what had happened when she went to her room and decided it best if she let him know about the girl she had met.
She looked up at him as he ate, seeming to enjoy the Chinese food a lot. "Oh Drake I met somebody when I was in the hallway tonight. Her name was Kiara and she was a veggie-vamp...she wants to be my friend." a soft smile graced her lips at the thought and she looked into his eyes curiously. "I'll be careful, I'll make her think I don't want to be your slave, but can I continue talking to her?" she asked him softly, making sure that he was okay with her interacting with the female. She didn't want to upset Drake or risk blowing their secret. As she waited for him to think about it, Aya felt Damien rubbing against her milky legs. With a giggle she bends down and pets him once more, obviously happy that he had gotten used to her so quickly.
All of a sudden though, there was a knock on Drake's door and Aya looked to it with a worried expression. The girl rushed to the other side of the room, putting her collar around her neck carefully before looking over to Drake, not daring to say a word just yet. The black silk dress reached to about her mid thigh, and moved over her skin smoothly with her every step. Aya then grabbed the hairbrush and fixed her hair before lowering her gaze to the ground as she waited for Drake to answer the door. Now she looked more like a slave, and if he so desired she would listen to his every command to make this more believable. The man on the other side of the door was the senior who had been watching Aya in the hall earlier that day. He too had just gotten back from feeding and as he waited for Drake, wiped the blood from his mouth with a pure white cloth.
Drake smiled when he saw Aya in her night gown. Yes, he had been a little disappointed when she had asked to sleep in her own clothing, but now he was happy that he hadn't refused. the silk gown she wore to bed framed her perfectly. Every curve of her body was visible, and when the skin that was showing, it left a lot to the imagination. Drake shook his head quickly though as it began to fill with images that shouldn't have been there. Yes, Aya was his now, and that meant he could do to her what he pleased. But that didn't mean that images like that were images that he should have had in his head. Not yet anyway. It was still a little bit too soon for that. He had to admit though, she was beautiful in that gown, and any man, of any race, would be crazy to not have such images of her, especially with her standing in front of them as she was in front of Drake. He told himself it wasn't his fault.
His hand slowly patted Aya's head as she told him about her experience in the hall. He smiled and nodded to her. "You can be friends with her. I don't mind. She won't harm you, because if she was here when no one else was, that means that she is a veggie-vamp. She doesn't feed on humans like the rest of us." He nodded his head again and crossed one leg over the other and picked up a text book he needed to read for his ethics class. He opened it to the marked page and read carefully, looking to Aya every now and then. "So tell me about the girl? There are quite a few veggie-vamps, and i know most of them, so I can tell you who is a good friend to have, and who isn't." He nodded as he flipped the page and continued to read, absently petting Damian with his free hand. He yawned, rubbing his eyes for a moment. He listened as she explained who she ran into. "Kiara?" He blinked silently and nodded. "She's alright. I don't mind. As long as you be careful of Sasha, if you ever meet her. She's a nasty one." He smiled.
As Drake got up to shut the bedroom window, he heard a knock at the door and turned to the clock on the all. "Who would be here at this hour of the night?" He put his book down and put his dishes in the sink before moving to the door. He opened it slowly, and blinked his eyes at the man in front of him. He narrowed his eyes a moment and turned away, letting the boy in. He sat back down beside Aya and put his arm around her shoulder. "What are you doing here, Brandon?" Drake's eyes were narrow, and it was clear he didn't like the boy that had come to pay him a visit. "You should be in your dorm room right now, cleaning off that mess on your face." Drake half-hissed at the boy. "Not here, patronizing me." Drake got up and walked to Luke. "Hey Drake. Just thought I would come to see what was up with you and this new chick here." Luke moved past Drake, or at least attempted to. Drake slammed his hand against Luke's chest and pushed him back. "Don't you dare go near her. She's my pet and that's how it will stay." Drake hissed at Luke, who in return only gave him a glare.
"Fine," Luke began, "keep her all to yourself, but you know the guys don't like that you're hogging some fresh meat. We could have had a feast, and instead you keep her here, locked away in your bedroom." Luke gave a smirk to Aya and then to Drake, but Drake shrugged and shoved Luke out the door. "Well that's just too bad, you guys can suck each other's balls because I don't care. She's mine, she will always be mine, so leave it at that." Drake hurriedly slammed the door on Luke before he could speak and listened as he walked off. He pinched the bridge of his nose and turned to Aya. He moved to sit back down next to her, and gently pet her head. "Don't mind him. He thinks he's tough. He won't touch you though, not as long as you're with me." Drake nodded and looked at the time. "Aya, it's time for bed." Drake yawned and stretched before undressing into his boxers, then slipping on his night clothes. "Let's get to bed, shall we?" He moved the bed sheets and blankets so she could get in, laying down next to her. He pulled her close and smiled, breathing in her scent. "Sweet dreams, Aya."
Aya was happy to see Drake's smile, knowing that he was pleased with her choice of clothing for the night. In truth she was always more comfortable in dresses and skirts anyway, so wearing a nightgown was far more comfortable then shorts. It draped so gently over her skin, making her bright eyes and hair stand out even more against such a simple yet elegant backdrop. His approval was the only she had ever craved like this before. She wanted to badly to please him as though he really was her master and yet she couldn't really understand it. Aya had always been a gentle girl who did her best to keep those she cared for happy, but she was drawn to Drake in a way she had never been to anybody else. She noticed him shake his head a bit and was slightly confused, wondering what he could have been thinking about. Though once he began to pat her head she relaxed, reassured that he was fine.
She was happy to know that Kiara would be an alright friend for her to have. Being able to spend some time with this girl would be good for Aya even if it had to be supervised by Drake. "Thank you Drake." she exclaimed happily before nodding at his next words. "Sasha?" she questioned softly, wondering who she could be that would make her such a danger. Though she shook it off, figuring that eventually she would end up meeting Sasha anyway. Hopefully though it would be with Drake by her side. When there was a knock on the door though, she was as interested in who it was as Drake. Though as it swung open she was surprised to see the senior vampire who had been eying her in the hall earlier that day. What could he want with them this late at night? Even just the sight of him sent a shiver down Aya's spine. She didn't like the way his eyes wandered over her curves, almost in the same way as Drake's did yet it was unwelcome from any other than Drake himself.
Luke? So that was his name. The way Drake's arm slipped about her shoulder was obviously protective if not possessive. It was welcome though, a feeling of safety coupled with his touch. Although, it didn't last too long before Drake was up and waking towards Luke once more. When the senior called her 'the new chick' Aya looked away, staying silent like an obedient slave should. She knew that her master would keep her safe, and he did. The strength behind his palm which slammed into Luke's chest was enough to make the boy stop dead in his tracks. Drake really was something, strong, handsome, appealing, he was a creature of the night with all the powers of one yet Aya could never fear him. The way Like spoke of 'fresh meat' and 'having a feast' made Aya's heartbeat double at least, eyes glued to the hem of her nightgown as she sat there. Needless to say she was intimidated by this man, she knew how desired her pure blood would be and the fact that he was willing to just waltz in here and talk with Drake about how the other boys wanted her was discerning. Aya could however take solace in the fact that Drake would continue to protect her fiercely. She was his and he could likely just do whatever he desired with her, but her being so loyal to him earned his protection. She hoped that he wanted her to stay with him as mush as she wanted to.
When Drake finally returned to the bed and pet her head, Aya tried to calm herself, slowing her heartbeat down as much as she could. "If...if you say so." she whispered to him, hoping that he was right and that Luke really wouldn't hurt her. She was ready to climb right into bed when he looked at the time, though then right there in front of her he undressed, leaving the poor girl bright red. Sure he left his boxers on, but the skin that was showing was certainly enough to leave her flustered. As he finished slipping off his clothes though she shook her head and turned away, trying to get the image of him out of her mind. It was pointless for her to calm herself earlier because now he heartbeat was racing once again and her entire face was tinted the same rose color as that on her special uniform. Once she looked back to him he was dressed in his nightclothes, pulling her close against his chest for the night. He was straightforward and bold when it came to the things he did, but that was one of the things that Aya liked the most about her master. "G-good night...Drake." she whispered to him, snuggling close before falling asleep in his arms.
By the time morning came around, the light shone through Drake's window and onto Aya's cheek. The warmth contrasting with the feeling of Drake's rather cold body woke her. Long eyelashes tickled against her cheeks and her eyes fluttered open only to look up at Drake. Cheeks became slightly flushed once more and Aya couldn't help but to smile. Oh how desperately she just wanted to keep laying there with him, but they had early classes that morning. She sat up slightly and gazed down at him, placing a gentle hand on his chest and nudging at him softly. "Drake...Drake...we have classes soon..." her voice was so tender in the morning, not rough at all like one would assume it to be after a night of silence.
She wanted to wake him without really startling him, but Drake seemed to be in a rather deep sleep. She stood from the bed, deciding to take a quick shower before waking him any further. The classes didn't start for another half an hour and her showers would likely only take five. Aya rustled through the drawers, trying to find a towel, though once she finally did Damien decided to crawl out from under the bed. She grabbed the towel and started to head towards the bathroom though an unexpected obstacle, Damien, stopped her dead in her tracks. In an attempt to catch herself she grabbed onto one of the bedposts. Though this desperate act only flung her small body back onto the bed. Now landing on the bed would have been fine....had it been her side of the bed. She winced softly as she landed, realizing that it wasn't the bed she had hit. Those large golden eyes opened to gaze up at Drake and she blushed deeply. Her delicate body rested upon his larger frame, and the poor thing was too stunned at the feeling to even move.
It didn't take long for Drake to fall asleep once he had gotten comfy. It had never occurred to him how much better it was to sleep with someone in your arms. Especially a human. She was so warm that he almost didn't need his blankets. But he didn't care if he sweat or if he died, he didn't let go of her for the life of him. He held her close all night long, and the only time he would let go would be late at night, way past having fallen asleep. That point in sleep where you aren't fully asleep, but aren't fully awake, where you're most likely to be woken up by any little noise you hear. This is the point in time when he would normally roll over and ignore the fact Ayu was sleeping with him, at least physically. Mentally, he was always somehow aware that she was with him or near him. He thanked whatever higher power there was out there for that, because it meant that even if and when they were asleep, if something were to happen, he would wake up and keep her safe.
By the time morning had come, Drake had fallen back into a deep sleep. He was curled up on his side, snoring lightly. He had been exhausted the day before, and so sleep was his salvation. When Aya began to wake him up, he gave a bit of a grunt and rolled on to his back. He didn't want to get up yet, and he was far less tempted to go to class. He'd wished he could just stay in bed all day, and not go to class. He would attempt to do so, by only falling back asleep. He listened a little as Aya moved around the room, but he quickly fell back to sleep. He rolled a little and curled up in the blankets. Yes, school was the last thing on his mind today. However, when he felt Aya fall onto him, he woke up with a gasp and 'oomph!'. He sat up quickly and put his arms around her, lifting her weight a little but keeping her close. He regained his breath slowly and freed one of his hands to rub his eyes. He yawned before looking at her with slightly angry eyes. He knew it was an accident, but he couldn't help being annoyed. He pushed Aya off of him and got up. "You really should be careful." His voice had a tone to it that showed he wasn't pleased.
Drake made his way to the bathroom and slammed the door behind him. He leaned on the sink and groaned, looking himself over in the mirror. He looked like hell. He felt like hell. And the lovely way he was woken up this morning was not the best thing that could have happened. He huffed and moved toward the shower and turned on the water. He got undressed and got in, hoping that the water would calm him down. He was a little upset that he had been so rude with Aya, and he planned on apologizing when he got out of the shower and got back to her. He knew it was an accident, that she was probably just trying to make as little noise as possible. He let the water run over his body a few moments before he decided to wash. When he was done, he got out and took the bathrobe he hand out for Aya and put it on. He walked out into the kitchen and found Aya sitting on the bed. Softly, he put a reassuring hand on her shoulder. "Aya? I'm sorry." He smiled at her.
He moved his hand to hers and he pulled her up slowly into his arms, hugging her close. "I know that it was an accident, and I'm sorry I overreacted. I just didn't want to get out of bed just yet." He smiled and slowly, he laid back down the way he had been laying down when she fell, and pulled her back on him as she was when she fell. He craddled her close and tight in his arms, gently stroking her back. "This is what I should have done." He nodded and slowly, he placed a kiss on her cheek. "Are you alright?" He smiled. "You should go get ready for school." He nodded and pushed her off slowly and carefully. "You wouldn't want us to be late, right?"
Aya could tell by the way he groaned that Drake wanted some more sleep, so she was ready to sneak off and get a shower in before actually getting him up. Though needless to say that didn't work out quite as she had planned. When she hit his chest she heard that 'oomph' and immediately bit her lower lip. She was about to apologize when he looked up at her, his eyes cold as ice. She looked a bit taken aback, averting her gaze from his face and biting down on her lip a bit harder then before. She knew that waking him was bound to upset him when he wanted to sleep, but hadn't expected him to throw her off of him the way he did. "I...I'm sorry..." she managed to stutter in response to his words, though heard no reply before the bathroom door slammed shut. Aya shrank down a bit and looked at her feet, knowing that she wouldn't bother him the next morning because she would be in her own room. Either way she felt bad for angering him, it was the last thing she wanted. With a glance down at Damien she pursed her lips slightly. "Damien we need to be more careful." she whispered to the cat before pulling her knees up to her chest, just sitting on the bed as he showered.
When she heard the bathroom door open once more Aya's eyes wandered over to Drake as he approached her, still looking a bit regretful. As his hand touched her shoulder the poor thing flinched slightly though his kind words and gentle smile soon calmed her. She shook her head a bit at his words though all the same. "No, I was careless, I should have looked where I was walking so I'm sorry for waking you." Though at this point she was now in his strong arms, her small form nearly engulfed by his hug. There was something so reassuring about the way he held her, and with a deep breath all of her worries about the incident faded away. She saw the way he treated others, and it was nothing like the way he acted when it was just the two of them. She felt like he was really a kind man, at least to her. Then again the way he treated her was all that mattered. She would stay loyal to him no matter how he treated others, she would stay by his side so long as he wanted her there with him. She really was his, such a gentle girl by the side of a reputedly 'cruel' and powerful man.
Even more of a surprise came when Aya found herself in the same position as she had been after falling, right atop Drake on the bed. Why he had intentionally put them back in this position was beyond her, but she was sure that now her face was an even deeper hue of pink then the first time it had happened. As his large hand ran up and down her back, one of her own clung gently to his robe, her heart pounding against her chest at the feeling. She couldn't think of a thing to say or do, she just stayed cradled against his form, reveling in the feeling. There was no doubt that she belonged with him. Her deep golden eyes were about to close when suddenly they widened at a cool feeling against her no doubt burning hot cheek. That was something she hadn't expected Drake to do, showing affection so easily to her. It felt like her heart was about to burst when he spoke again and she nodded a bit. "Oh...y-yes I'm fine." she reassured him with a flustered smile, her eyes shining brightly. When he lowered her back to sitting on the bed she looked at the clock, seeming a bit distressed before she hopped up and got her towel and uniform once more. "Right!" she replied diligently, running towards the bathroom before back tracking and pressing her soft lips against his cheek this time.
Before he had a chance to react though she was off again, hiding her reddened face before slipping into the bathroom for her shower. They didn't have too much longer to get ready so it would have to be fast. She undressed and hopped in, turning on the warm water and washing herself. After a good few minutes she turned the water off, dried herself and started to get dressed. She figured doing so in the bathroom was better then just undressing in front of Drake after all. Once her dress was slipped on she opened the bathroom door once more, sitting down upon his bed and pulling on her pink stockings. "Sorry for taking so long." she was sure to add before fishing around the drawer once more for her gloves. She was no longer flushed, luckily the shower gave her time to relax after the incident they had. Once her gloves were on as well she put on her collar and stepped into her shoes, letting out a soft sigh of relief. Grabbing the hairbrush that he had used on her hair she finished up getting ready, brushing her long soft hair and slipped the rose into it. With a soft nod, out of breath by now she smiled at Drake. "Ready for class."
Together they headed into the hallway, all eyes on them as usual. She stuck close to him, behind him as she was supposed to but still close for her own comfort. They begin to walk past the courtyard when something catches Aya's attention. A glimmer of silver shimmers through the window and her eyes take a bit of time to focus before she notices it's a dagger heading for none other then... "Drake!" She gasps and runs forward, shoving him as hard as she can before the glass shatters. The shards rain down like snow over her frail body, and a loud whimper echos through the hallway. Even those across the way at the other windows are looking now as Aya drops weakly to her knees, wincing as a bit of glass gets embedded into her legs which couldn't support her body in such anguish. Tears drip silently from her wide Amber eyes as she looks up at Drake. Lodged within the soft flesh of her abdomen is a silver dagger, blood staining her beautiful uniform and puddling around her. The smell alone would be enough to tantalize the taste buds of many of these vampires, but she can't even think of such things with this pain clouding her mind.
From the open window across the courtyard, Luke's form quickly disappears. Such fair porcelain skin as Aya's bleeds blood as deep red as the most beautiful rose. Though as she looked up at him, those eyes soften a bit, still showing pain but now something else as well. Surprisingly enough a weak smile forms upon her now rather pale lips as she gazes at him. "I'm glad you're aright..." though she is still in well enough mind to think of their rouse. "...Master" It wasn't a fatal hit, so long as they could stop the bleeding in time.
