I have to deal with something similar atm ^^; My mum's doesn't want me to marry my bf because he's not a Christian like her OTL Something about being unequally yoked with an unbeliever or some crockery.

I really dont care about religion. It has good values to implement...but...i'm sure my boyfriend has wonderful values with or without a belief in God.

-sigh- But luckily... she's allowing me to make my own "mistake" even thought she doesnt approve
