But Rebecca was someone to be admired - a real businesswoman who could go head to head with the mean female CFO and come out, nail polish intact. For her to notice anything about Maia was a compliment.

"Oh, this? This is just my work clothes, really...and the necklace was a gift." She fingered the pearls automatically, shyly proud. "And don't worry about the paper - I've got two boxes of those colors on their way, and I'll make sure you get your stapler." She paused. "Will there, uh, will there be anything else?"
