Titus flashed a grin right as his cellular phone went off at his hip. "Aw crap. There's Mom," he said, glancing at the display once he had fished the slender object out. "And she sent me a text message telling me I need to go over to my aunt's house this evening instead of home. We've all been invited to dinner."

He clicked out of the message and looked over at her. "You got a cell phone?" he asked.
