((I'm going to skip Brian for the moment, okay?))
Rebecca Klein looked up at the knock on her door. Today she had her hair pinned up in a messy bun and a neat pantsuit of charcoal gray on with a ruffled white blouse underneath it to give it a feminine flare without many layers. Her gold loop earrings were firmly ensconced on her earlobes as per usual as was the gold bracelet on her left wrist. Smart looking shoes of polished black leather (they were Cole Haans) and a stiletto heel adorned her feet. The overall effect was of a classy business woman mussed slightly by her usual work.
"Come in!" she called, having shut the door to her office earlier due to a business call. Her office wasn't the largest in the company, nor was it the smallest. However, it was cramped feeling with the three wooden filing cabinets adorning one wall, the large secretarial desk that took a nice portion of the real estate, and the trio of some generic paintings Becky was sure came from target huddled on the wall in an artistic fashion near the door that were opposite her windows.
That was why her office wasn't big. It had windows and therefore she should be grateful for the perceived roominess. Becky only had enough room to comfortably walk around the end of her desk that was perpetually coated in paperwork (no matter how neatly she stacked it) and the wall. Luckily it was three feet, but otherwise the large desk killed most of the creative space.
And she was lucky enough for a couple of chairs beneath the art. Just enough for someone to come in and sit down in the scant four feet in front of the leg of the desk that divided the room in half.
