Some of my favorites are Sword of Truth by Terry Goodkind, Wheel of Time by Robert Jordan and the Kushiel series by Jacqueline Carey. I also really like horror novels too. Stephen King and Clive Barker are two favorites there.

I've read the first one, and I've seen the show. I'm still mad they canceled season three. I need my Richard. =[
