Well, I had also met my ex on there, unfortunately.. But when my relationship with him was declining, this other fellow befriended me and has supported me throughout the disaster that was my previous relationship.

Which is another reason why we're waiting until we actually meet to go ahead with anything because while we're pretty much the best of friends, but we've both had disastrous relationships and long distance ones.
