Next helped him up and stumbled a bit as the two of them struggled to get out of the door and after Naveen.

The dark-haired boy had already shot up the stairs, full of energy despite having just woken up in the hospital... hell, despite having just come back to life.

Knowing they couldn't make it up the stairs themselves, Next stumbled into a thankfully open elevator and pounded the correct floor button until the doors were opening back up.

"Out of the way-!" K was saying as people rushed into an open room, where Mello and Next could see Lina and Matt standing in the doorway in shock. "What the... hell...?"

Dragging Mello over, the two of them looked on in shock as Naveen stood over his still brother, the heart monitor completely flat.

"The HELL you're dying on me now!" Naveen snapped, grabbing Near's shoulders. Near jolted, as if he had been electrocuted and then... to everyone's surprise - as if they weren't in enough shock - the monitor began to beep steadily once more.
